HOTD S3 Warm Up and Trailer Breakdown (ACOIAF #26)

Welcome to the Unreal Hour. Hi, it's good to be back. I'm Fiona and I'm Emma and this is a cast of Ice and Fire number twenty six. Wow, that's a lot. In this episode, we're catching up on what we've been up to and what we've got coming next, including our upcoming trip to the Hair and Hall play. And of course we're diving into House of the Dragon to break down that trailer and discuss our expectations for the season ahead. Stick around. Yeah, I am so pumped for this new season, but we'll get to that. So we haven't done an episode sounds duncan egg. I've really enjoyed that. It was good. It was good, It was very good, and we seem to have picked up quite a lot of new listeners along the way. So hey, guys, we see you. Thanks for listening. We've got videos in the pipeline, including the other character bio that was promised on saying a targ Aia, so we will be looking to record that in the coming weeks, hopefully next week actually, but let's just see what life throws at us. But we've got that. We've got another video on legitimacy, which is you know, on point for the House of the Dragon discussion, so hopefully we'll get those to you soon. So super excited to go and see the Mad King at the Royal Shakespeare Company. I know we have got the tickets book, the hotels book we have. That was a that was an experience making sure we secured those tickets. Men have been assured that they're flying solo for a few days. We are off. We are we're road drifting it to Stratford, Ponie and how Scotland. It's going to be quite the road trip. I'm so excited. And we accidentally booked a matinee, which has turned out to be the best thing ever. Yes, because it's going to be a film the performance. Yep, we had no clue that was that was what we were doing initially, and then we just. The wing it. God sent us in that direction. Yeah, so we're going to see a matinee and then we're maybably going to go for the evening performance. Well we're there, We're going to hang about, do some interviews in the crowd. I don't know how that's going to go. This will be a new experience for us. Yeah, you're going to play reporter for the day. That will be fun. We're going to go armed in our unreal our t shirts and make our presence known with our awesome chat. You know, guys, you know are awesome. Oh for sure. Yeah, it's going to be great. I'm so excited. I'm going to take in some historical sites along the way on the on the road trip to and get. Our history and nerd thing on. Yeah, we please expect some really cool videos with some cool shots, because because we have the opportunity while we're there to take in some castles and some sites. So yeah, well we'll definitely share that with you guys. Definitely. We may even do a couple of videos of our journey. Yes, absolutely, And we're going to try our best to find some cast members to interview. That would be so cool. I mean they might not let us anywhere near them, but we can try. I expect not. We're polite, so we'll probably go. Oh no, that's fine, I'm to bother you. The will is st though. The will is very strong. Will it's Simon strong. I want to I want to interview Regar in character. So or what were you thinking? Did you have any idea that your actions here today we're going to start us the war? But yeah, the casting its fabulous. It's strong cast. They released that last week, I think it was and very very excited says it's going. To be a buzzing year. So we're going I think a couple of weeks after House of the Dragon finishes, Aaron We're going to need at least a week to recover. From, but the buzz will still be strong. So oh definitely. Yeah, So go straight from the House of the Dragon season finale to getting psyched up to go and see the Mad King play the Royal Shakespeare Company. I mean it's perfect because the whole Handhall thing plays out like a massive Shakespearean tragedy, So who better to put this on? I think it's just genius. We have awesome seats, so our seats are like a bird's eye view. Yeah, we get to see the whole stage, which is kind of in the middle, isn't it. Yeah, it's like a cross with the audience in the four corners. And we were going, like we are priority book, and so we were going for like front row seats at first, or just a really good solid view, and then when we actually looked at the layout, it's like, actually, you're going to get a much better view from the balcony and yeah, so we're going to be looking down on the whole thing. It's going to be absolutely fabulous, very very excited. Yes, this will be a cool event for sure. That I've seen a lot of like positive vibes of being a play, but I have seen a few like negative comments, like people going, oh, why can't they make it any a TV show? And I'm like, no, no, no, no, this is the right choice. Yeah I think so. I think what you know, whether your bag is is cool, but you just you just can't really beat the theater, can you. No. It's the atmosphere and the what is the word? The theatrics of the whole show is just perfect for what this is. Oh, without a doubt. Yeah, it's like you can say it's a TV show or a movie and the rest of it, but just the personal touch of just being there and these characters just being feet away from you. And we have so many shows, we have so many shows we can see on TV, but yeah, this is a different medium. It's like someone else is like, oh, like. This comment and they're like, why can't we get Robert's Rebellion And I'm thinking, no, we know what happens in Robert's Rebellion, Like we don't know what happened at Harnhall. There are so many mystery of Haron Hall. Just like characters like a Sharadane and Howland Reid. Howland Reads just comes fresh from the isle of faces. When he shows up at this tournament. I want to know he's got to say for himself. We've got the mystery the Night of the Laughing Tree. Who was it? Then there's regards coup. The whole tournament is a front for a great secret, great council de thrown the Mad King. And then we've got the Mad King. It's just going to be so good. So many things to unravel, so many long term mysteries, you know, mysteries that have been there since book one. And George is heavily involved with this. I'm expecting some answers. We've got ladies did such a long time. So I think it's. Once it starts like the twentieth of July or something like that, something like that. Yeah, yeah, so late July the run, but we're going in August because we're doing House of the Dragon. Yeah, we're busy, guys, but we'll be here with you. Right. So House of the Dragon is back. And yes, they were all looking absolutely fabulous on the red carpet last night. You saw some of it. Yeah, yeah, a couple. I took some screenshots just in case you didn't get to see the rest. Ye perils of mum duties have no signal. Saw a couple of then the phone just had swirly circles of death and its Oh. And everyone looks so pretty. They looked amazing and all these absolutely stunning people and stunning outfits. That dress, that dress, we're going to have to talk about that dress. Let's bring up a picture of that dress. Actually, Olivia Cook looked amazing. There we go, look at that dress. She is absolutely stunning. Now, those of you that aren't listening on YouTube, nature chance to jump over and see that dress if you haven't seen it already. But wow, she looks so beautiful, so poised, very jealous. I want that dress. Yeah, her dress almost beats my wedding dress. Was stunning. I think she had more underskirt. Yes, yes, there's a lot of underskirt going on there. But wow, it's amazing, Absolutely love it. Clinton Liberty was looking hot as well. Fabulous. There's a I love the backdrop. The Winner die backdrop is fantastic. Abigail Thorn and her armor. Dress, that's quite something. It really is. There another shot? Wow, she looks. As absolutely gun show. Absolutely, she's fabulous. I love her so much. She's so good. That dress is amazing. It's giving wonder woman. Definitely, I'm getting those vibes. I'm feeling that Bethany Antonio looked amazing, so stunning. So understated and so beautiful. She looks lovely. She looks amazing. Not a dragon riding dress, No, definitely, not one. Matt Smith was just looking dapper as usual. Not loving those shades, Matt. No, it was very hard to get a good shot at matth he was never standing still, just like Yeah. I struggled to get a good screenshot of him during the posies. Emma Darcy looks phenomenal. Yes, I love that trousers suit. It is very very nice. I really like it. I actually have trousers that are quite similar in a darker blue. Oh, very nice. I'm not saying that. Maybe in Stratford. Very good. I like it. Yeah, Emma Darcy is just giving it. Great face there again. Absolutely. Archie Barnes was looking fab wasn't it. He was like a teen heart throb. He's it just what a smile. I love that he looks like Oscar. Tully, Yes, he does Tully. And Au you look at anyone else, it's like a targaria. And because they're all wigged up, they look totally different. But Archie Barnes looks like Oscar Tully. Easy spot. Yeah, I'll tell you. Who was really hard to recognize was Wolf who what's his name again? He is? It's been a hot minute since we had these guys names in her daily dialogue, Tom Bennett, Tom Bennett. Tom Bennett looks very Swiss, doesn't he he does. Look at that tie, it's amazing. Is it a tie? Is it a cravat? Look at that hair and that beard it's also neat. I know, it's very Unolf he has a bucket watch. I love it, love it right, So I'm probably going to butcher this name. But Abby back Erslam was just looking so that. And I just have to point out that his face acting in the show is phenomenal in comparison to what pay guy. Yes, he's so warm, been smiley. And sovable. He was so durfy and serious it's like crack a smile. I'm sure Adam gives him a couple of eye rolls to that effect. Hammer is very pastoral. Yes, actually like oh it's like Texas cowboy. Yeah, we got that going on, Karen, but Karen, but that's it. Oh, I knew all these names two years ago. I did. You and Mitchell went for the sleek black suit looking sexy. He's got that Amon stare on. Yeah, he just looks like Emond dyed his hair. Yeah he does. I've got Tom Glen Carney, so come on, Clinton, he. Just put it away. Work in it, work in it. It's like a model. Goodness, Gracio. I don't like the gloves we go. Oh, Tom Glenn Carney, bless him. I know those shades are massive. They are they are. He's looking very chisel, doesn't he crispy and boils? Yeah, wasn't Fabian looking fabulous? Oh my god, what a houghty he do? Yeah? I mean like not Kristin Cole, like he gives me the creeps. But Fabian is just he's a very very good looking man. He does have the charisma shoe letter though, personal personal preference. That's all that is. That's no shade, no shade, no shade. Sure, he's a lovely guy. It's just it's just a Christen Cole thing. I'll see him in something else and be like, no, cool guy. Yeah, I liked him in the first couple of episodes of House of the Dragon. You can't make me like Jack Glue. It's the same thing. I just I don't know Jack Leze or didn't know Jack Leeson and anything else, And every time I see him in something else, he's always going to be that little twerp. Yes, but he is a great actor, and actually, when you see him in an interview, what a lovely guy. He is a lovely guy. Sure, it's the same for Fabian, but because I haven't seen him on anything else, I just got. Still pretty bad guys. Yeah, he seems nice enough. He's always going to be Kristin Cole until he's something else. Yes, that is the curse. So Fabian no shade the fact that we hate him. It means he's doing a really. Good job, absolutely fantastic. That is a good looking guy. So if there's you know, if you're looking at a good looking guy and you're going I hate you, I'm thinking. Well, a job. My comment of all the charisma of Shoe Leather is because he is the embodiment of Kristin Cole. Visually. Yeah, visually in this still. That doesn't mean an interview or anywhere else or him personally. Just in this still. I mean he's posing for a House of the Dragon shot. Okay, it's okay to have an opinion. I'm owning it you for Fabian. Fabian is not going to listen to this. He's not going to listen to this. And if he did, he would say. Well, okay, cool dream, big girl dream. I don't know, Kristen Cole, is it this time next year. We're going to be interviewing Fabian is going to say, I don't want you to interview me because you have the charismav shoe. Leather Emma, thanks very much. You're rude person. That's okay, that's okay, That is okay, guys, it's okay to have an opinion. So yeah, there's a few others as well. Absolutely love the bold outfit choices. Absolutely prudos to the designers of some of those wonderful light fits. They genuinely are one off, like beautiful, beautiful outfits and born so well. And they were so professional on the red carpet. Every single one of them. They just even the kids, you know, they just look like they've been doing this their whole life. They get hats off, like, really great job, guys, really professional. And extra bonus points for that dress, Olivia. Yeah, I'd love to know who the designer of that dress is. Oh, yeah, we should find out. So I'm guessing that will bring us to our dragon section. Yeay, it's hot, Dragon sees and Fox and we are back. You have that trailer. So good to hear that dragon sound again. It's been a while. Yeah, we didn't use that during Drunken Egg. We could have, but it would have been reaching. So anyway, moving on to that trailer. Yeah, it's very intense. It's freaking awesome. I mean, there's so much going on. Let's just talk battles for a start. How many different battles do you feel like you saw there? And the scale of some of them, like those shots, those wide shots with the full armies, they're massive. I don't think we ever saw anything on that scale in Game of Thrones, even thinking of the Battle of the Bastards or anything. I mean, yeah, I. Get that the majority of these we guys are like cgied In. You've got a couple of hundred extras and they're portraying thousands. Yeah, I get that, there's cg id In, But I mean, come on, this is just so huge. Yeah. Like we thought the Battle of Blackwater Bay was cool. Yeah, like with wildfire, yeah, but very few people something else. This is real dragon fire setting fire to fleets. This is like, oh yeah, the long away Battle of the Gullet. We've got a lot of shots from that. In particular, it looks amazing. It's they put so much effort in here. This sea battle is the huge budget thing. Might be part of the reason why it got moved to season three. Would have been an awesome finale. Can't help thinking when I watched the trailer, Oh, it's giving finale vibes. That's the finale we should have. Yeah, just been for an action packed whole season. Exactly exactly late. It is what it is. What happened two years ago happened here we are. This is going to be an epic, epic season. We cannot see anything like this anywhere else. It's just huge scale, huge, huge scale. The sea battle looks phenomenal, the ground battles look massive. Even the individual character shots are really cool. Aimed with his creepy eye out, Nana Vegar torching with our turkey neck flapping around is just so wild. Love that. Yeah, for sure, I do love the starter. There's there's Alison in her usual tone, yes, our winy hone. And I love the end of the trailer. She's in her I told you so face, Yes, yes, because she. Just love to gloat girl. Yeah, Alison, it's going to be funny. Do you know there was an interesting shot of Alison later on in the trailer that I am absolutely certain is Harron Hall. Okay, the shot, if you remember, is the one where she kind of she looked really shocked and discussed that's Harron Hall. I'm sure of it. There's the shot there we go, there's Alison looking absolutely disturbed. I am absolutely certain. That's harn Hall. Look at the there were the trees in the wall and yeah, yeah if and we know that from the book that Aimon commits certain atrocities at Haron Hall, and I think that's Allison walking in on them, which. Is not part of the story of Fire and Blood. But if you do you, Ryan, you do you, We're here for it. Let's see what you got. And you're going to change things as long as you. Change it, well you know for the better. Well, Dan and Day were the ones to beat, so you know for it. Actually, no, I'm going to I'm going to call you on that one, and I'm going to say Ira Parker is the one to beat for a faithful adaptation. I was trying to set the barlow for Ryan. To be fair, he's going to adapt things in a non book canon way. Ira has stuck to the script. Absolutely, even going on Reddit and apologize to fans for missing out one iconic line. Yeah. I mean at this point, I'm an Irah fan. Oh without a die massively. Yeahs by fun like The Seven Kingdoms was by far the most faithful adaptation. Yeah. With We could say that with Season one of Game of Thrones though, but it's for beatam, so you want a. Lot of it is And the only things that were for be and were like scenes with farries and little fingers that were just pure gold. Yeah. Season one a Game of Thrones was damn faithful. I'll give them that. Yeah, we've got more shots of Raina and the wild yeah. I think. But the dragon shots, I think we do see Sheepstealer. Yeah for sure. So we're going, sure the claw dragon through the water is either ver Max, but it seemed too big to be ver Max. Yeah, Sheepstealers pretty massive, So we're thinking that's probably who that is, and we're going to say it's Raina. Yeah, it has to be. There's going to be no Nettles, sadly that it can only be Raina. Yeah, yeah, for sure. The terrible babysitter, yes. Work babysitter. Ever, I hope she gets like proper told off for that. What's going on? Is this a spoiler one who cares? Well? Yeah, she's definitely going to get told off because the two kids are about to go missing. Actually one of them makes it home, but the other one doesn't make it home for a bad decade. It's so shy. She's going to be in so much trouble. So anyway, there's an interesting sort of scene. There's an interesting scene with Alison and Helena and a small bundle wrapped up, going to guess that's Jahera. It doesn't look like a baby. It looks like a small child. Yeah, so are they going to maybe go back and do that horrible it's the bridge, bitter Bridge, the bitter Bridge incident, and maybe used Jaherah. Well. In the other teaser, there was a scene that looked like Helena was giving birth. Yeah, that's true. And there's been a lot of speculation back and forth between different YouTubers. Some of them think it's Helena, some of them don't, and I have no conclusion. I think Fia Sabin Actually I only heard this though this is here say I didn't actually see any article myself, but I heard that Fia Sabin confirmed it was her. Right, Okay, so in that shot, just after that shot, there's a shot of Helena looking very distraught. So I'm going to guess this is just before her demise. Yes, yeah, this is a good, tragic, tragic season for Helena. I'm going to cry, and I'm going to cry cry. I'm forty two in a basket. Case right there with you, girl. Nor Ones can't cope with this. For those of you that have listened to our older podcast, do you remember when Emma said she had a swinging brick every time I went did you get emotional. Did you cry? No, No, Perry, menopause has enlivened my heart. It's true, man, it's true. Oh, we have to talk about James Norton. Oh, yes, yes, I love James Norton. So let's talk about James Norton, because he is looking just in command. I just love that they've brought James Norton, and I love James Norton. He's so good in everything that he does. I'm so excited because. I just binged. King and Conqueror have been meaning to do it for ages and I just binged that at the weekend and I loved them. It's very good. That's very very good. She is phenomenal and happy. Valley is such a good bad guy. He always plays a good bad guy, but he also plays a good good guy. Yeah, he's a great actor. Can't wait to see what he's going to do. Probably not going to see him for very long, but here we are. It was very interesting actually that he had a couple of lines of dialogue in the trailer, because he's not someone that we've been introduced to yet, and that's quite unusual. Actually, I think because it's James Norton, you're going to have to give him dialogue that wasn't there. Oh yeah, yeah, without without a doubt. He's he's absolutely proalliant and it's just that he's going to totally own this role. I'm so looking forward to it. I think he was in Pride and Prejudice or something years ago. Yeah, mister Darcy or something something like that. Yeah, a very kind yeah, like sort of like good looking guy. And I just love how he has stepped away from that and he does all these bad guy roles and he's just such a diverse actor. Really looking forward to seeing him in this definitely. I don't know if he's quite a bad guy in this. I can't remember actually, like did he do bad things or is he just like on the wrong side? Oh like, not that I'm a black supporter in any way, shape or form. I'm completely neutral. Yeah. I do love when they cast a big actor. Yeah, well a big UK actor. He's maybe not big all over the world. I'm not sure and enlighten me. Not sure myself, but. Yeah, I do love when they cast someone like that and we get to see them give their input to the character. Yeah, yeah, definitely. I think the best example of that we've got in House of the Dragon, and is Matt Smith as a demon. It's just like he's such a well known actor and yet he has embodied Damon Targarian. It'll be hard for me to see him as anything else going forward, even though I've seen him in so much before. He's always going to be Doctor Who. Oh. Yes, I can't under see him as Doctor Who. Apart from when I see him as Matt Smith. I see Doctor Who. Yes, when he's on the Dragon, he's Damon Targarian without Damon targeting in the book, is Matt Smith? Yeah, yeah, that's that's what Matt Smith has done with that character. The next time I read it, I'm going to picture Matt Smith. Oh but you know what seeing the Crown, he was Philip Mountbatten. Well, he absolutely was Prince Philip. He just oh it was it was uncanny. He's just he's just a versatile actor. He's very very good. But for sure, so we're getting sidetracked. We've got a trailer to get through. So yes, we see. We obviously can tell from the trailer that we Needa takes Kingsland, and that's very very clear that that's happening, not a secret. There's an awesome scene where I think Damon's just cutting his way through to the throne for her. Think when he's like slashing all their their branded merchandise down. Yes, this is man and oh this is man. Captain Red Wharf, Oh dear, So what else have we got? More? The dragons over kings Landing scene as well is very four dragons flying over the city, very good shot. Small folk troubles. Yeah, Hugh's wife, Yeah, we see Hugh's wife and she was said she was going to. Tumble to tumble tumble Yeah. When her brother was or something, she was going to Tumbleton. But so do we think this is the turning point for you? Something's going to happen to her and he's going to freak out. What's going to happen? But it looks like she's in King's Landing. That doesn't mean she can't leave later. Maybe this is her point where she goes, shit, I can't be here. I'm definitely going to go my brothers. Maybe or maybe maybe that was Tumbleton. Maybe she doesn't die in Tumbleton. Maybe she dies there in kings Landing and he thinks she's gone to Tumbleton and that's why he freaks out because he can't find her and everything to him is lost. Yeah, because Hugh and Wolf and the books are like, I mean, they're pretty much the same guy. They're both assholes, but in the show they've given a lot more depth to you. Yeah, they're opposite. He's a very good guy. He's a good guy. He's just a struggling, hard working blacksmith. Way about a like a bit shame about who his mama is. Lovely to go full Targarian his granddad's dragon. I know, it's so good. Shout out her upcome and sayd a Targarian video. Yes, but yeah, he's he's a different guy in the show, and so there's going to be a demise. There's going to be a downward spiral of probably emotional turmoil that's going to set him off. I think. So you mentioned that shot of Aimond with the eye looking. Got his eye out, man, what he means business? I swear he's stabbing beloved cast members at this moment. Yes, no, yes, no. The atrocities Aron Hall, that we speak of just audition for the Royal Shakespeare Company. Your drama is on point. Meant that I. Like she said, Perry webs. Yeah, the struggle is real, so this is an interest insane When Mitsaria being past a note with a green steel wax feel on it, that's interesting. Maybe we should have given her more thought in her suspectless. Maybe it's Allison saying you better not have my dad or I'll fuck you up, bitch. Yeah, but to be fair, she is on our suspectless, so that's enough. Sari I was like, yeah, well I don't have a house to burn anymore, so piss off. That'd be a shout out to the o Hi Tower video. Guys. Check out. The girl is plugging. She is plugging for her life. So this scene has been talked about a lot. There's a scene with Rania describing for the listeners. There's a scene with Ranera sitting at a very large dining table with a lot of very uncomfortable looking people that I've never seen before. Yeah, this still of the scene that we're looking at at the moment looks like Rania has done a massive fart, and no one wants to say to the queen that's humming. Look at it, Look look at this lady here. She's like, oh, sorry, we can we can get rid of that This third on the left guy is laughing. He's like, he's like, oh, I can't not laugh at pumps, not even regal ones. Lady next time is like, you're not laughing at the queen's pump? Are you? Everyone else on the right is like, fuck that, she'll chop my head off. She'll set far at me with a dragon. Either that or she's just said, does anyone else want to audition for a dragon? And they've all gone, oh no, absolutely not. And that one guy is like, oh, I might. Well are we talking leaks? I haven't watched any of the leaks. I have been a dance mum. Okay, I have to talk about what the leak is about, what this scene might be. You want to talk about mothers? Okay? Or should we out? You can tell me. And then you can decide afterwards, right, okay, So let's talk about it is if we are podcasting, and we can decide afterwards whether we're going to cut this. It's not a pump. It's not a pump. Okay, right, it's not a pump. So you sure. So there's a rumor our leak rumor that Runira is feeding people rats? Why well, as we know there's no rat catcher, so there's an abundance of rats in the Red Keep. And in the book, Auto released a lot of cats to deal with the rats. But I didn't get the chance to do that in the show. And I'm wondering, like, it's it's the people that betrayed our own stuff. It's nothing on that table, not at this point, there isn't. But this is what was leaked. And then this trailer came out, and people are going, oh, wait, is this the scene? Because the leak came out first before the. Trailer, So do you think this is within the same scene. The point when Ranera's like, you have betrayed your queen? Have you not betrayed your queen? Could very well be. She seems a bit she seems a bit teary when she's saying that though, And I can't imagine Rania if she had planned that. Sort of I think she'd be stone faced. Yeah. Yeah, oh I don't know. I don't know. I hadn't heard the leak, but plausible that for a week pla, Yeah, they're they're looking the other way, like, oh, what's this coming out? Yeah, I don't know, it could be where I mean, I can't distinguish who they are. That's the thing. I look very nondescript, and the people that are closest to Rania at the table, I don't recognize. They're just nobody's And it's a bit bizarre that the Queen we'd have these sort of NPCs that they are the MP Yeah, like why why are they? Why are they there? It's all very suspicious, isn't it. And then when you hear the league and then you see this scene, you're thinking, oh, oh, is that what's going on here? Because dying in the books. But you do you Ryan? Yep, Brian, you do you? We're here for that, dude. She's looking very sneaky drinking her wine, isn't she She is? That is a very good point. She was looking very sneaky. There, and she does take her turn at this stage of the story. She definitely takes a turn for the darker. Graffiti that's awful, genuinely, that is awful, wrong can sid And that she's lost her son in a really horrific way and they're still calling her son's considering that she only has one son left. Calling her son's bastards is just beyond Yeah, it's beyond cruel. It is it's it's there's there's absolutely no need for the grief. And I'm not sure at what stage this part of the trailer is. But assuming it's close after our taking Kingsland Inn and going. For she's been quite benevolent so far, although she's not been there. She sent food, she did she was trying her best with the small folk, so and they went on, yeah, like Queen of Bastards as wow, that's really taking a turn. Yeah, and is that just high tower supporters in the city or is the city starting to turn on her at this point? How litterate are the small folk though, because the spelling is on the point and it's actually it's very legible. Well, yeah, there was that. I mean, we don't have a lot to go on there. I remember Time and Lanster being very surprised that Aria could read when she was pretending to be a commoner. But then that didn't even happen in the book. It was that was the TV show. So we don't really have a lot to go on there on how literate. This would be an oversight, to be fair by the writers. That just could be my undiagnosed brain looking at that going that's very legible for small folk. It spelled correctly, you know, if they've given it a bit of squidgy writing and misspelling, I could have got on board with that. But yeah, that that seems like someone learned has has popped that up there, maybe with a ladder. You would have needed a ladder either that or that several small folk on each other's shoulder with a big mas Yeah, how did how did that get up there? Who hovered to do that? That would have been somebody light if they were all on the gold. Clock standards is slips and stamen left. Okay, yeah, big bit of chalk though, bit cho Who is this guy? Who is that guy? Nobody knows? I browsed other people's trailer breakdowns to see if they knew, and nobody seems to know who he is. Actually, I'm having a flashback to watching light Bringer, and I think he said the same thing. Who is that guy? Some spooky bats and hair and all? Yeah? So are we getting some weird Amond? I think Amon's arc this season is going to be a lot like Damon's last season. Yeah, maybe that's why Alison's hat. And also he can bang his mother? Oh wow, yeah, well I gest but I think that's possible plausible. I looked like the real Allison and not some like vision version of her. She looked sufficiently horrified but yeah, spooky bat scenes at harn Hall. What else we got? Oh no, leave the lego alone. Stop fucking with ER's lego. That's not funny anymore. The lego set, yeah room, I'm coming back to this discussion about it being Viseres's body. I can't so in the books they didn't do this. They did just store them away. They didn't spoil them away for months though, But they didn't give my funeral either. Unless they've stashed his body under the lego, then I'm not buying it, because Eggon was in Visseri's bed when he was all yeah, I. Think a different room. This is where the speculation is that they shoved vissers Andy's lego set in another room and just forgot about it. We'll deal with that after all this chaos. Is I feel like that's an actual valid possibility when I pass away, that my kids might take me and my lego minister just go fuck that with a bitch somewhere else, that lego minister. So my only thoughts can be the Battle of the Gullet has already happened, and this is Raina. And Raina's been a bad babysitter and she looks mum sad. So yeah, we're where the fuck are my boys? Yeah? You were supposed to take care of them. I don't care if you've played a part in the battle and gained a dragon to help us. You betrayed your queen. Yeah, yeah, she was. She was given. Her face is a different kind of sad, isn't it. That's her face. Isn't like fucked off sad. It looks terrified sad. Yeah, yeah, I think that's what's going on here. For sure. She really is the worst babysitter ever, even though she has got a bad ass dry in now. Ah. This line in the trailer bring egg on targetian to me? Is it? Yeah? I just love it because do you remember the episode where the only thing she said and the whole episode was the first episode of the season two target. Yeah, she's just like fucking she's raging. Yeah, we know her mum rage. Yeah yeah. And it's given that vibe, isn't it. Like she's she's a woman who has lost and she's like, right, that's my rage is directed that you. Now, I kind of feel sorry for Egon in this moment, because, like, I mean, he's a despicable human being that like you know, assaults women and stuff like that. But in this role of usurping her, he was a puppet and he's getting a lot of hate as if it was his own choices and he was kind of just propped up by the rest of them, And I fuck him. He's a dick. Oh, he's a he's. Just As a viewer, I think tomlin Carney is a wonderful actor and he does play pitiful really well. So as a viewer it does make you feel that emotion of pity for his character. And as you Neira takes a turn, I think it's totally viable to be really starting to feel a bit sorry for him, because you're right, he has been a puppet because he's a muppet. He's completely usually he had to be rescued from clubfoot. Yeah, what King has to be rescued from creepy Laris the foot fetish club foot creepy. I know. Yeah, when you put it like. That, he's pathetic. He's pathetic and ming in And what was it he said? Who was it him that said it? Or you can cut this one too. I just want to know was it him that said or was it someone else said to him that he's co has cock burst like a sausage on a spit. Yeah, him that said it? Yeah, it was. Oh wow, that's that's succession for him, gone gone, his his wee boy is gone in the show, his air is gone. He's only got Jaharah. Yeah. So unless Helena has given birth, as we hope we've seen. Yeah, but well we know what happens with that. It doesn't end well. No. So yeah, but bad times for egg one, bad bad times for egg On. What is it? I watched Gray Aria released a video yesterday. I think it was Check it out, guys. It's a really good video. She's just discussing the depth of a character. He's very interesting character. But one of the things she said about On was he was ignored by his father, used by his grandfather, his affection from his mother comes with expectations. His brother thinks he's better than him, his sisters are better than them, and I just thought it's absolutely brilliant line. However, the flip side of that is that he is a spoiled, whiny bully who tortured his brother, thought he was better than his sisters, raped girls, probably including his sister, was offensive and rude to his mother, and kind of weird and whiny. He sacked his grandfather, He played a part in usurping his sister and going against all of his father's wishes. Yeah, he was a little arsehole and an ars look at the same time, it's a vile character. Sympathy for that burnt little twit. Oh, it's not about having sympathy for him, it's about and being an interesting character. He's great to watch. Tom glen Carney is great to watch. Yeah, twerp. Yeah, it makes for some interesting story development, and. It's testament to how great these actors are at playing the parts of these characters that George has created. Yeah, they really have brought them to life, and great testament to the writers. Yeah, and Ryan as well. Oh, yeah, on yourself. And although George thinks you're an arsehole at the moment. We're here for it, Son, We're here for it. You've got the job, you're Dana. And we wouldn't have this world on screen without the showrunner. So we're very grateful for that. Yeah, for sure. And yeah it is a testament to the writers because these aren't fully fledged characters in Fire and Blood. They're historical figures in the text books. It's quite dry. It's acredibly. It is, like, but so. What they have done to bring all these characters to life, They've done a great job. Absolutely, Like we said, even if George doesn't agree with all their choices, well. I don't agree with George's choices sometimes either. You can't agree with everybody all the time. You can just enjoy the positives and when there are negatives, you can agree to disagree and move on. When it's a really wonderful world that's been created initially by George and kept going, yeah, by people that are genuine fans. Fryan Condall is a genuine fan, and he's sort of wonderful. Yeah, he really, And to like you say, there's there's choices of George that I'm not particularly either, like like the butter bridge thing, and I don't really need to see that, and if they have, I'm cool. I'm good with that too. But I get what you're saying about. It doesn't make sense to the rest of the story. Things like this did happen in history, and. This event sparks another event that Yeah, and butterfly effect absolutely, And I understand what George is saying. But if you'd never written that in the first place, I would have been cool with it. Wasn't my favorite part of the story. So I believe this is Alice Rivers and amoned with a dragon egg. That's interesting. I mean, she does look like she's like kind of loving having that dragon egg. A bit blood on that egg. There is a fresh blood and on her yeah, on her hand. Yeahs blood on her hand and blood on the egg. I wonder what's going on there, can't wait to find out. Yeah, And then we've got egg On saying that he's so much and I can't remember the exact line is so much It is to Killy's brother or die trying. I think it is. Fair enough. Get a big man. Bring it up, and bring it on Chrispy. I'm on this, Gabs, dear lord. So they're very interesting dragging in a cave scene or dragon fire in a cave. Who's that? I don't know. I mean like, if you're looking at it's like Rocky, could it be dragon Stone? Could it be the ruins of the dragon pit? Maybe, because you know, we all know that rad he's kind of destroyed it and looks like Dragonstone. It does look like Dragonstone. Well, time will tell, we will see. So there's a scene there as well, Corliss looking absolutely just shot. I'm guessing that's his castle and all his treasures being burned, the whole life's collection, the castle had built himself. Is a very sad moment for Carlis. He's been through enough. It has. And then we have this other scene of Damon Aimon. Sorry, we have this other scene of Amond at Harron Hall, who seems to be fighting someone with ludden he saw too, and. He's underwear, he's in his jammys, Like, what's going on there? When my jammy's chick. I've had that text a few times with a bloody sword though, No, so I don't know what's going on there. Is it a dream sequence? Is it? Or is it him tripping out and kind of coming to you know, he's like maybe being sleep walking with the trippy wherewood paste stuff. Yeah, very strange. Interesting to see what's going on there. If they committed to atrocity and has to defend himself afterwards, Well there's always that who is that gal with the That's how I was literally about to talk about so this, So yeah, we've got to shot this black Cali, black Calie. This is Alisan Blackwood. Yeah, she is going to be bad ass, but there's something about the way she's looking at Damon here. Yeah, and I'm telling you, you know how they've cut nettles and there's the was she like a daughter to a worthy lovers thying? But Rinia ends up thinking that there's something going on because to run with that with black I going to run it with Black Alley. That's my thought. Just that one look alone has made me decide they're going to make Ruanda get jealous of Black Alley instead because Black Alley. Let's face it, this Lassie is the real winner of the Dancer Dragons because she gets to marry Quagan Stark. Yeah, she really want who's that actress? Let's look that up. Annie Shapiro. Annie Shapiro is looking hot and dangerous, and I can't wait to see what she's going to bring this character. I think all that's left to mention is Roddy. They're ruined. Yes, Tommy Flanagain. I can't wait for this. This is one of my most exciting things about this upcoming season. And this is the reason I was going to go to Comic Con this year. Yeah, yeah, are we too late? No? No, no, we could still do that October October. That's we can put that in her schedule. We're on downtime. Then, Oh my god, Tommy Flanagain is going to own this. I am so looking forward to this. This is a fantastic actor and a fantastic role. He's so badass for anything. Anybody that doesn't know Tommy flan Again, he was in Sons of Anarchy and Chips Chips, Yeah, that's what I was going to say. He was also in Brave Heart. He was badassing that too. Fantastic Scottish actor. When I have those old lady brain first, so I can't even think of Brave Heart wedif my pery menopause, it's a problem. I mean, my brain does kind of repel Brave Heart because it's not historically accurate. No, it's not. In the accents we're flogging awful. Oh they're really bad. Well except for the Scotsman that are like James Cosmos and Tommy Flanta. Again they were brilliant. James Cosmo has been the Old Bear as in the Lord Commander of the Night's Watch from Game of Thrones in case you didn't remember. Super excited to see our Scottish actor Tommy Flanagan in this, really excited. He is such an amazing guy, Glasswegion being in so many things it used to be a dj actually to begin before he was doing acting. He's been in Brave Heart, he's been Gladiator since City, Guardians of the Galaxy, Sons of Anarchy, Peaky Blinders, Westworld, so so many awesome things and it's just amazing to see him in a show that we really love. Yeah, so going to make a huge f to go and see him at Comic Con this year and actually get to chat to Tommy, So please stay tuned for that. Definitely, that would be great. Definitely looking forward to to see what he's. Going to bring you this role. It will be epic. It will stick around for Tommy, definitely. He gives the best hard man, doesn't he without a doubt, without a doubt. And I'm really hoping when we do meet him that he is just the most lovely gentle man. I get that vibe. I get that vibe that he's just a nice guy. He is. I believe he's a good friends with Robert Carlisle as well. Oh yeah, I'm going to tell the story anyway. I'm tell me, I'm not afterwards for the. When set them up with a few an agent or additions or something, get him, get him out of there. And sure enough he's made an absolutely fantastic career for himself. And that's a nice story. I just loved them in that. Yeah, totally. But back to Tommy, his good friend, or so I've heard. I can't wait to see that it's unfold. He's a great character and he's going to bring a storm. It's going to be great. I think we might have talked about everything. Just lots of people looking absolutely badass, lots of really good battle scenes, lots of tension, drama, everybody's got their best face acting going on. It's going to be a show.
