With Plotto officially out of the picture, we’ve found a worthy successor in Plotmund—aka Ormund Hightower. He’s filling that void with spectacular energy, whether he’s asserting dominance by pacing around naked in a bathhouse or delivering "fatherly" advice that’s really just thinly veiled manipulation.
Meanwhile, Rhaenyra is completely missing the tactical genius of "jobby bombs" as an air-to-ground offensive weapon.
To top it off, Harrenhal continues to be a spooky graveyard, and the dragon bonds were absolutely popping off. Caraxes is out here having full-blown human-dragon arguments with Daemon, Rhaena is playing hide-and-seek with Sheepstealer, and we’re sticking to our guns: Sunfire isn't dead, he’s just in a state of "brumation." Keep telling yourself that, and maybe it'll come true.

Keep it Unreal
If you go now to where you are meant to be whenya need not know, we will find a ship. Leave the dragon behind. I will not feel of him. It's not like the other's Rayner. He is wild, he cannot be trusted. He is mine, he is a part of me. I have been alone all. My life, the targarian without a dragon, disregarded or worse pitied. Can you yourself say you ever gave me more than. A passing thought? Rain of the unfortunate, Rain, the least among your children. Come back with me, then to King's Land. Here now we will. Speak to her together. We will tell her it was a mistake. How can I ever stand before her again after what I have done? Welcome to the Unreal Hour. Hi, they are welcome to our show. I'm Fiona, I'm a Memma, and we are here to cover episode four of season three of House of the Dragon. It was called Dumbleton Dumbleton. It was written by David Hancock and directed by Claire Kilner. And we are on episode thirty of Cast of Ice and Fire. So coming up in today's episode, we have three points each that we loved from the show. So I have a whole of one hundred hearts. That's very cryptic. Let's get a cat and enter plotmand. Oh, what have you got? So? I have the old town conspiracy, the tales of Laris and Egone, and planting the dragon seeds of destruction. Cool. We also have a huge dragon section, yes, and as always our very somber rip and maybe some other bits in there that we liked or did not like. Absolutely we will be dropping some low as well, so let's get into it. Overall thoughts of this episode. I would give it a solid seven, solid seven. I am going to go one step further because of the lower and I'm going to go with an eight. For a character building and plot development episode. It was. It was absolutely great. It was and it was back to true format. Yes it was. Yes, I much preferred this pacing. It was good to see some old locations. Yes, answer new ones yes, yes, set design, set dressing, CGI, prosthetics. They were all absolutely amazing. And of course Ram and Joaddie is fabulous as always. So yeah, really really loved this episode of nothing but good things to say. Yeah, excellence. So maybe not about the characters. Yes, yes, the characters themselves made some questionable decision but they weren't writing problems. No, they were not, right, Okay, so would you like to go first? Cool? So I'm going to start with my Hall of one hundred Hearths scene. It was my favorite scene, right, Yeah, that didn't involve a dragon. Yes, I think that we should make that clear. Yes, yes, yes, we picked her three points, but that was trying to save things for the dragon section. Yeah. So the dragon section is really our. Favorite, but we'll get to that. So, yeah, go for it. Hall of a hundred Hearts, what you got? So this scene is where Kristin Cole and gwen Hytower walk into totally deserted Hall of a hundred Hearths at Harron Hall. This scale is just insane and the lore behind these they're like pillars, but they're like statues, and they are meant to be the old iron born kings of Househore. So they're the guys who originally built Harron Hall out of chopped down sacred wherewood trees not cool guys. So the whole place is basically built on bad karma. Oh yeah, because the. River Landers that they were using to build out were all kind of enslaved as well. Yeah, I mean egg on the cockeror was kind of a liberator. Yeah, it wasn't just about conquering, that was liberty in the river lands. Yeah. So what we can see on these pillars statues is they look like they're completely melting into the floor. So it's a brilliant visual of sort of the layers of all the bad stuff that's happened to Haron Hall. So the bottom of these statues, slash pillars, whatever they are, they're kind of twisted and melted from when the first egg on came and wrecked the place with Bellerium, and then after that now which is one hundred and so years after, they're covered in souit from Vegar. Yeah, coming back and well not coming back, but coming and having her go at the place, yes, which is so cool. The number on the place. She really did. In my notes here, it's hot because aimoned through a massive tantrum with Vegar. Yes. Well, like I said the other week when this happened, that Nana was just getting out or repressed anger because belleri and got to go there himself the first time. She's like, I wanted to melt a castle. So it's incredibly easy reminder that no matter who tries to conquer Haroen Hall. The dragons alos end up turning it into a graveyard. Yeah, yeah, exactly. And then it as the scene progresses, they're sort of walking around harn Hall and then they bump into Alice Rivers. I know, well, I cliped that scene. Brilliant are you lot? Where's the castle? Slay? He who succeeds in then. Slay and the one who succeeds him as well. And who are you? A steward of a sort? Said it's the. Best you can do at the moment. We seek the Prince Siman, as I'm. Sure too many. He was meant to meet us here. If you know where he is, i'd advise you to be forthcoming. She so sarcastic, as brilliant. He was here, he sees the castle after Prince Damon abandoned it. But when you learned that we're nearer took kings. Landing, he and his dragon when we're King's landing. Oh oh my, she's so creepy. I love it so much. It's her face. It was so fake. Shock. You know when someone's like act surprised, like I'm not supposed to tell him. It's like, oh, you didn't know. And they believe her. Oh boys, it was a very cool scene, very very spooky, and they're. So dumb, oh dear. I love the bit with GWayne when he's like, we have none of this, we have none of that. We're on and on, We've got. Them exactly where we want them. I'm just so dead. Yeah. It was brilliant and it was kind of a role reversal here because he's like kind of all dooming gloom and Chris and calls like, no, we're going to march out there. We're going to fight them as long as there's no dragons about them. In I love that it turns his own line on them from last week, which I can't remember what it is. Oh, it's something about being beasts. Yes, yeah, we'll turn into base and all honesty. If it's like it feels like a positive turn. But actually I think it's like a new level of his PTSD where he's like actually lost all hope and he's like, we're all going to die anyway, might as well be glorious. Yeah, let's die as men fighting men, not no dragons involved. Yeah, let me do my thing when my blades are glory without the blaze. Minus the blaze please. But yeah, great scene. It's actually like the first dialogue since that first scene in the tent. I think that's episode one, and then it's like, yeah, next episode, gee willickers. They weren't in last week's episode. So yeah, it was nice to see a bit of dialogue from Gustin Cole that wasn't like the. World is ending, We're all going to die. It was more like, we're not going to die, let's do it fighting. To be. It's like fall Out Boy on my Head from the Simpsons. Hey, so, do you have any more thoughts on that scene at all? No, that's my wrap up for that scene. Okay, so let's talk about the tales of Laris and egg on it as I am now calling it because it's just so Duncan egg due on the road vibes, yep, take whatever work we can get. Even oh my god, where the guy says, let's see call some melted face. Yeah, I have that here, and it was so he's talking about Tom Tangleton, who is total book. Can in person. We'll get into that Tangleton and mango face Mango face exactly. That was quite hilarious and he said, don't mix the buckets up, urine for the tanners and feces for the farmers, is it. Yeah? And he's like, don't mix the buckets up, and Eggon's face is just like, oh, you fucking arsehole, I hate you. Yeah, was was not happy. The face acting was brilliant. He was just so pissed off and so like, these people are so beneath me and I have to blend in and I don't know if I have it in me what she doesn't. I'm gritting my teeth as much as I can, but I'm I'm going to explode. So yeah, really killed. Seeing who first come into Rook's rest, we see Mellie's on the walls, sad, so sad, it's just rotting away. That really got me. I didn't expect to see that. I did, but because someone meant it on something I watched later on in the week, something from the promo, and I had missed it in the promo, so. I wasn't expecting it. And then I heard someone else say that body on the walls or they were trying to say that it was sunfire. It was like a wee short that I watched or something saying this body on the walls is some fire, and I'm like Dragon Red. I was like, if there's a body on the walls, it's it's Melle's. It's got to be Melle's. So again, me shouting at shorts, why do people lie on shorts? Why are the lots of people that just go out there and they just put fake lower out there? Drives me nuts. Maybe they're using AI. Anytime I tried to talk lower with AI, I end up arguing with it. That makes sense. You're wrong, You're wrong, man, Just do this myself. For sure. So Tom Tangleton, the lanky dude that was on Youine, I think that was you. I think he was so to. Tom's a character that comes into the story later on. So it's quite interesting to get I'm not going to get too much into it, but because that might be spoilery, so I'm not going to say what Tom's part of the plot is. Oh, maybe it's going to be egg On's pal for a wee bit then, because it looks like they're going to have to work together. If Eggon wants to stay alive, he's going to have to go and do the jobby duty. Yes, so he has no option here, Yes, it's perform the task or die. Well, so maybe what he does is because Tom is quite a meek character, maybe Eggon manipulates him into doing his job too. That sounds that sounds plausible. That tracks. I could totally get on board with that storyline. So not to get any of it too much because I don't want to give away for future spoilers, but keep an eye on Tom. Tom definitely has a part to play in the story. But anyway, Yeah, what you're saying about shoveling ship for a while and stuff, Alaris says to egg On, there's a I think he said tomorrow. There's a Bravosi cog leaving for from Duskindale tomorrow. Oh no, I think you said a couple of days. Did you say that, you said a couple of days? Okay, I have a clip here of this scene. I think it's in this one that he says it. So that's clearly well, that's good. Brev Co saiding from Dusk and Dall in a few days, a few days, few. Days, I'm the fucking king if they like. Even though you'd be believed. When Neera SIPs the throne and she hasn't a dragon, she did as a favor. By the time you're dead, I'm dead, I'm dead, slain my brother? Is that what they saying? Fucking killing, fucking killed. There's much as we learned from the chatter in this camp and limit it's a boom will ensure. That you're thin, show resurrection. It comes to stuff with song and legitimate. Laris has taken on a big task here and trying to get egg On to be something he's never been. Laris has always been for a better term, on the back foot, and he's had to learn how to be sneaky and watch what's going on and use his mind instead of his body. So trying to teach egg On to do that when egg On has done nothing but use his mouth and has had things land in his lap his whole life. Do this? Do that? Told when to be here and rebelled against him, and nothing's ever happened to him really because he's when he's rebelled against it, because he's just a big spoiled baby. So girly got us lap in the face for his mother. Yeah, yeah, Laris has taking on a huge task. Yes, it is huge. However he's doing quite well. His patience is off the charts. I saw an interview with Tom Glynn Carney and Matthew Matthew need Him, and Matthew need Him said that Laris's character couldn't be any more opposite from him as a person. He said that he gets very overwhelmed easily in situations. He's not the type of person to just take a step back and wait and be calculating, so it's really interesting for him to play that sort of character. And then Tom Glenn Karney said, yeah, no, I would say I'm probably very like e Gone. I do get overwhelmed Now'm quite quick to shoot my mouth off. And then he was like, no, I'm not like Hagan though. Then, but maybe I am actually a bit less evil. Yeah, I'd like to see that. But apparently those two actors have got a massive bond and they get on real really well, which displays on screen. It definitely does, which is yeah, it's a great parent. Yeah, it was nice to see that interview and see them. They've got some proper on screen call. Yeah. Yeah, they were like, oh, we both get overwhelmed at things and we bounce off each other and what a great pair of that's great love that. So after that goes for the food and there's none any. Actually, like, I'm not fucking having this. Is this how you running out of food and I'm thinking. Excuse me, half your city or starting. I suppose that kind of started on you know it started before Rooksress. Yeah, it did. It started before Rooksress, So you want to talk. It just shows how out of the loopia is, even with what's gone on in his own life exactly. He has no such a colossal fuck up, so entertaining to watch, though I'm loving them, And then he's going to kiss the shitty boots because he's feet, so I kiss my feet and I'm. Like, Laris will do it. Yeah, I love that. I didn't think of that. I was too overwhelmed by how graph. To me my third watch to come up with that. The pieces of ship on the boot was so disgusting, and he went so slowly. I don't know how we didn't Rich Oh, I know, oh yuck. Knows how the camera cuts away right before he actually. Yeah, before the lips touched the doodoo. Yeah, lumpy Jobby. Oh. It's amazing how this show can like gross me out and have me entertained at the same time. It's quite a talent. So yeah, I don't have any any more notes on Lars and Egon just to say that I just I loved all their scenes. We've got some more, some fire stuff, but we'll save that for the dragon section. Yeah, so that means you're up. So next we've got interplot mound, because let's face it, now Otto's dead, Plotmand is officially the new Ploto. Yeah, yeah, it has to be if actually think he might be one upping his uncle. Oh so Machabellian, isn't He's He's terrific and all the worst best ways. Like ATTO's a pragmatic strategist who was. Ruthless but has been so in this for a while though, because we see that Rania asks for the correspondence between them and there's nothing for Ormond getting back terms. So I think Ormond's been I think Ormond may have had designs on the crown. What do you think? Oh, yeah, definitely, It's it's very evident that the plan's been there for a while. His little character arc in this episode was great because first of all, we see him, yeah, like visually he's in the bath man like he's just he's in the in the main big house in tumbles in in the lord and Lady's house having a fucking bath, and they come in and they're all pissed off and they're like the woman's like, you're sleeping in my bed. Yeah, and the man is just so now, it's not very nice what you're doing, you know, and she's like, fucking region, She's like, you're in my bed. And my favorite bit is where she says, well, well she's the queen. Yes, my favorite bit too, and he just. Stands up naked in a bath and it's the most like well like pissing on his territory display, Like he just gets his dick out in front of them like, well. This is my notes literally saying like she's the queen? Is that? So he said yeah, and then he literally starts swinging his deck around and we know it's a big one because Lady Philly can take her eyes off it. Yep, so true. Oh yeah. In the next but when he gets that letter from Boris Brathian that was Olidia. Actually, let's hear the clip. Prince by Lord a Raven from Storm's End carrying more excuses from Lord Boris by. More excuses. Love it. The Lockward sealed the marriage pat between Prince Himan and one of his horse faced daughters. And yet where is he now? Send another raven? You can understand one may have to with drawings rather than letters. Absolutely, he's quite amusing. I like him. He's very he's very evil, but he's like, he's quite dismissive. And that that there is it? Do you know what? It's actually kind of parallel to Damon at a small council media. Yeah, Demon's very similar, and he's just don't get to that later. I was going to say. I feel like Demon's less evil, but I need to bear in mind Demon murdered his wife, yeah, and plotted with Rania to get rid of Lenar. Yes, yes, for sure. No, it's not about evil as such. It's more about pants. It's it's the dismissive. He's just like, who's this guy again? You know, like Demon was in Ormond's like, oh, yes, send the raven, maybe send them pictures. Maybe you can understand stick men. For sure. So then next after that he's given out is fair justice in public? You just get this feeling that it's disingenuous, Yes, because it seems to be very it's very fair he's brought his men into the town and they're allowed to go and live in these people's houses. And but suddenly he's all very vicarious. I don't think so, oh did you right? Well? Respect you for seeing through that, because I was like, oh, arman, that's it, that's how we. Deal with fucking like. I bought it. I did buy just in that one scene and the rest of the scene I thought no. I thought he was very dickdastardly. There was something creepy about how quick he was to be like, oh, well, no, what we'll do is we'll guild you and then we'll break your arm. And there didn't seem to be any hesitation in that. He was definitely just playing a role there. But hey, puppet master, oh went right over my head. It's a noddball. And then he's like having this tall temper tantrum and we can see there On anticipate in his moves. He's like a not to hundred. I wrote that Darren reads the room like an abuse victim. Yeah, totally. He's like, get out and is it what? Yeah? And by this point, Deon's already backed off, watches watches his body language reading the note, and he hasn't said anything. Yeah, he didn't pull an expression or anything, and Darren's still like he's about to blow. Yeah, he's going to lose his ship. Yeah. There was an earlier scene as well, in the first. Scene when the Terrories, we second in commanders comes in and says, if we if we don't have Amond, we're screwed. If and Vegar were screwed, and Darren looks terrified, and Ormond goes over and he's gives him a little pat and he's like, all right, nephew, try to be like comforting, but there's something off about it. You could see another another part there when when he's talking about Gwen and Darren's like the look on his face like it's Gwen come in. Yeah, Like it's like Gwen is his safe place. Yeah, because last season when we saw Gwen talking to Alison about there on Gwen, you could see the fondness and he's yeah. Yeah. It's very interesting as well when they when Rania and Allison, Raniera's sort of questioning, yeah, so what's Armond Like, Well, what's he like with Daron? Fatherly as far as I've been told, but she did say that Gwen thought he was cruel, but Gwen thinks most people are cruel, sort of thing, like, oh, Gwen's about your drama queen. He's he's a bit soft. He's not. He's very perceptive and he's kind and we like Gwen. Oh yeah. And I'm thinking Darn seems to have come across as somebody that's like he's retained his empathy, his morality despite being raised by Ormond, who is clearly diabolical, and so I'm thinking maybe it's Gwen. That's that influence in his life. Yeah. I mean, sadly, I don't think they'll ever be reunited, but it's nice that they've had each other. It's mad though, how Ormond goes full circle, and by the last time we see him, he's like forcing poor Dereon to kill Leo, Yeah, Cat's brother, when he'd already made out like in front of the public, this is who this is who we are. We are the high towers, and we provide justice and we're taking care of you small folk, and this is the law, and we're very pious and we look after women and all of that jazz. And then in private, behind closed doors, he's like, no, he's besmirched the High Tower names so and that's the point where he's like, but you're going to be king, and he's I was like. Oh, oh, Pluto, Ploto. He wants to run the show behind the scenes because he thinks he can manipulate boly knows he can manipulate this boy. This boy's terrified him totally. It just so happens that I clicked both those scenes to highlight that point. So let's hear them. And this is on the steps when they have their complaint, when he's holding court. What is your name, Garrick, my Lord of white Grove, Garrick of white Grove, You're a violated guest. Right you have to boat yourself upon a woman and injured another. Your punishment will fit your crime. You will be gelded and you will have your own arm broken. You may remain in my service, but trespass again and you will hang. My lord. I have a wife. See them home, have a made attend to their wounds. What the hell is we these rapy guys when they get caught outward? I have a wife. Pro maybe should have thought of that in the beginning. Exactly, lordlessness and disorder. Yeah, because Jasper as well. It was I tell my wife, you. Know what, tell your wife what you're getting your willy out at the wrong time. Sure'll love to hear that. Yeah, tell my wife. I'm tell my wife it is over. Tell my wife, I'm coming for. My horse for sure. So then yeah, in this final scene, it's a complete contrast from earlier on when you know it's like you violated guest right, blah blah blah. But then so it's like in public is one thing, but then behind closed doors it's a teachable moment. It's kind of despicable. Really, let's hear it. No, you must be king day on sweet faced here, He's like, what I wish? Surely for me to turn cloak against my brother. You will restore our ancient order. Victory will be ours. It is the will of the gods. I thought you let him go. All righteous king must demons straight. He upholds many virtues. He sounded like wisdom. Yeah, complete total. You only acted when our man attacked a woman. He laid hands on a high tower. That soldier is an extension of you, of the crown, just of me. It's not mercy. You can leave virtue. That sounds like something your father. Not happy with that comment, was he no, not at all, Moron ta Saiun's reaction at that later, Yeah, Ormond is just his true agenda is coming becoming clear now. And this is not just a thought he's had since Grenada took kings Land in No, No, he's been. Planning this day and whole life. Yeah, it's terrifying. I don't think he'll stop at anything to try and get he wants. Ormond. You're a bad bad man. Plotman, You're a bad bad man. That kind of brings me to the point that I was going to make about the Master's conspiracy for my section kind of leads into this quite well, because there was a lot going on there. So first of all, we've got the Septin last week saying Nana, no, I'm not going to annoy you. And as we pointed out a lot of things last week, they wouldn't have been said had she not been a woman. But as Vania is a woman, the faith of got that little bit of extra ballsiness to stand up to her. Even if she does. Have what eight is it six or eight dragons on her side, It was how many dragons she got she's got for you? Anyway, let's go to six. She got six dragons on her side, but like he's still balls enough to say no to her. But then this has follows into the following week, but in a really cool way that is echoing the lower mysteries about the Old Town conspiracy. So we've got the Master's, the Sept, and the high Towers. So it's like a planned cea, isn't it. It's a fel safe. If we can't have egg On, no, then we've got Ammond. Yeah, if we can't have Emond, then we've got our planed Sea of Derron. That's our that's our last ditch. Yeah, exactly. And you can see that this by the way Ormond's talking particularly, you can see that this is something that they've been holding on to generationally as a family since egg. On the Conqueror's he walked in. He took what was ours all time was the biggest, most bustling city in west of us until Eggon came along and raised Kingsland in. And we do hear a conversation in the episode that lets us know that the High Towers have paid for the Sept. Well, yeah, so I've got that clip actually, so yeah, that was that was That was the first. This made me go all way a second. So it's Marinia talking with Orwell, they're talking about how connected are the sept to the High Tower. So let's see that. How much control do the high towers exert over the Faith? Well, they endowed the building of the Star Receept and the old town was their seat for centuries before the conquest. The seven Aar is intrinsic to the High Tower fabric because well, dragons are to House Targerian, but control I think not. The Faith is too proud to allow such influence. Would you would say that the High septm has refused to annoint me. The Faith clings tightly to its separate powers. If I may be so bold to ask your grace, does it matter? Your grace sits the throne, Your people have welcomed you back as a liberator. Dragons full the skies. Are these not symbols of palette enough? Yes? They are shout out to our upcoming Legitimacy video which we will be diving into these different symbols of power and what they mean throughout the entire Song of Ice and Fire series, but also related to House of the Dragon as well. So keep an eye out for that coming soon. To stay on point with this episode, I love that this week thing has been highlighted the connection between the sept and the High Towers, But what wasn't highlighted there was the connection with the Mesters as well. Yeah, but so it was really funny that it was a Master delivering this line going no. No, they're not, there's not control there. Well, you were saying that you're the third point of the triangle, mate, You're the grand Master. If there's an old time conspiracy, you're in on it. Yeah. So yeah, I love that they've went there. This is some deep lore and it's not even just going back to eg On the Conqueror. It goes back to the the founding of old Town. We hear about battle Isle, and we hear about the High Towers fighting off the last dragons on battle Isle, and then there's the whole theory about the High Towers not actually being from not being first men. Well it's not theory, that's I think pretty sure. That's a stated fact in the lower Book that the High Towers are not first men. They were there before the first men, and people assume that they're great Empire of the Dawn that's the theory part. But we know that they were there before the first men and that they fought off the last dragons, so maybe their mission to fight off the dragon lords goes back thousands of year millennia rather than just centuries. So love that this was highlighted. Love the lore so cool. So yeah, we've got this thing last week with the step ten, and then we've got the Master conversation about the sept and the high Towers today, and then Ramond just drives it home at the end where the anti. Targidian kind of racist. Yea, So let's see that you are a good boy. You speak kindly and you say your prayers. I've raised you in the light of the Seven, and the Father smiles upon you. But there is a taint in your blood. The Tagarians are a savage race, poor an intellect, but rich and cunning. With dark spells. They created abominations to subdue what was rightly ours. We are the superior men, but against that we could not stand. Yep, Ta Sarian thinks you can't. The gods have you to divine purpose? My boy? What the purpose? Sire? The brutes raise a woman to the iron throat, a desecration. Where is reason? Where is propriety? It was a blessing that you came toward in Old Town. Your brothers lost, but you remain a high tower raised in the shadow of the citadel, in the light of the starry. Sept See there is there is at your triangle. Now you this Old Town conspiracy is real, man, But actually this is an adaptation. This is not confirmed canon. That's fine, but I want it to be. I wanted to take it as canon confirmed. I'd say it's pretty good. It's fairly good. It's it's good that they went there. It's good that they've taken that bit of deep blore and pulled it on the screen for us. Just a few lines and it might go over a lot of people's head, but for it's there for the book fans. Yeah, and yeah, thank you. I love that for us. There was a few moments in this episode that was yeah for the book fans. Yes, yes, there was, and they have given us those throughout the show and even last season. There was a few. There was a good few. Yeah. No, this one made me happy. So made me go, Yeah, we get to go deep lower, we get to go ancient history. Love it pre history even love it so good. Right, that means we're back to you. Well, it's a bit of a lighter scene. I have called it Let's get a cat. I love this so much. It's really good. I like the build up to the scene where Ronida has said, well she's at the table. Where's the hand? Oh yeah, And then we end up at a scene where we have Carlis and Alan together and he's like, well, you're like, you're the hand. You're not supposed to be going back, like like not fighting the triarchy. And Carlos is like, I am so done with that woman. I'm so pissed off at her. I can't give you legitimacy, but what I can give you is an opportunity to go and make your own way. So you go and be the hand in Masstead without being the hand, because if she wants to play that card that you're not getting the name. But you just have to crack on. Well, let's let my son crack on. Then see what you think of that. And he has such faith in him because he knows he's a good guy with good suggestions and he just has to do what his father did. Yeah, he believes in him that he will be just like him and find his own way from nothing. Yeah, so that was really cool. But the scene itself again, love the lego. The lego is iverythin. I love it. But I think what really makes the scene special is for the first time that Alan gives her advice. He does. It's quite a big thing for him to volunteer that advice. But it was so natural. In the conversation they did have a wee bit of that Valarian trauma Bondon. Because so that was cool. Rinider kind of brought that up about fathers and how you can really love them and really hate them all on the same breath, and they have that sort of moment. Yes, let's do that. Lord has ridden out by the dragon Gate to hunt the triarchy raiders that play got trade. How very unlike him, he has able men who could lead that campaign. Well, his queen struggles to restore a broken kingdom. He do know who you hired his hands? Yeah, Gris, if I may, Lord Father has lost much and my Lord Father thought it a fight is perhaps what he needs. True? Yeah, Hm, my father's life's worker. Recreation of the seat of old Valeria a reminder to him. I think that. Even great dynasties for the crown should never rest easy on his head. There were those who whispered that my father was weak, But seeing through his eyes, I can only marvel at how he ketched all imbalanced for so long. Fathers have a maddening capacity to at once inspire and incense that you think incessant. Thanks to Eggon, all the whack catchers are dead. Board ship with kept cats. I love the look exchange there, and it's it's she really seems to appreciate that he's given like practical logic and they both sort of look at each other almost like comedic way, like it was one of the lighter parts of the Yeah, it's like punches through the doom and gloom. And it does, it does. But yeah, Alan's he's quietly confident, isn't he? Yea and Rania gets that. And he's the first person since she's been on the throne that's given her some real practical advice without having a hidden agenda. And I think she really is perceptive in that moment. Yes, you know what else I liked about? Yeah, I like that. I think it was a couple of weeks ago, maybe it was last week. We were talking about Runia and Alison. In fact, I think it might have been last week and you said you would have liked to have seen a scene with those two talking about their fathers. Yeah, and it's like, well we didn't get that, but we got this. Yeah, yeah, and I'll take that. Yeah, so we've got we reflection on fathers there as well. So that was cool. But yeah, overall, love the scene, and I love the cat thing. It's great that we're getting the cat. I do love that. I loved that she was such a sister and went, oh, if Agon hadn't hung all that catchers, such my brother's fault. This mining inconvenience is my brother's fault. He's such a pain in the ours not a not in a kindly sister. Wait, but it was just it didn't make light within a dark situation. Yes, it was also very cool to have that that lego set there. Yes, nobody, no, I think it might come. Do you still think it's coming? I'm starting to think no, I don't know. I just thought that would be the room if they were going to find it. We've seen the skull now as well. It's not we know what the skull is, so it's not that. I don't know. I mean, they did do this in the books, but it was just like it's like the date they didn't ring the bells for a week after they died, you know, because they were too busy plotting. But you know, it's been like maybe a month or so. Now has it been a month? What is the timeline here? Right? So marching at Harron Hall is a couple of weeks. Kristen Cole's been there and back again and back up there again. When was Rook's rest. They came back from Rooks Rest was episode four, and they came back from ROOKSSS. So that'd be a couple of weeks back and then a couple of weeks back out out again, and then there was some camping waiting for aim and who never showed up. So maybe a month, a month to six weeks that month to six weeks, Yeah, Rook's rest or, Vices dying, Rooks Rest, and to between Vices dying and Rook's rest, I would say, what like a fortnite something like that? Yeah, two three weeks, there's. Still room for it. I'm not discounting it. Not maybe longer than that actually, when you think about because Kristen Cole went there, and he didn't just go straight to Rook's rest, and he didn't go straight away either. The weird bit for me because he stopped at like three time, is Eggon's burns healing. Yeah, for me, that's the weird bit. Now, he had a broken leg and he had all those burns. Yeah, so logically that's got to be about six to eight weeks at least before the leg here. Yeah, the burns, I'm not I'm not that up on how long burns take. The heel, but I think given the scarring on his face, Yeah, that's sure got to be six months. I don't know that we're six months, but that would make sense to Yeah, we're seeing No, I think I'm going to settle on three. I feel like he'd been more sticky. Yeah, we'd be more sticky, absolutely, But yeah, I think I think if we settled on three, I don't think we'd be that far out, give or take. So if if she does ever find and they do run with that, she's going to have to He's not going to have a crown on, so it'll have to be his clothing that she discerns as him because she's wearing it. She's got his crown, so how is she going to know that's him? Yeah, they might have to drop it. They might have to drop it because of the way they've done the timeline and yeah, a bit of that, but it would be really cool if they ran with her paranoia and then so I did it back to front that that's the straw that broke the camel's back. She finds the body and she absolutely loses all semblance of normality. Yeah, because we definitely do see a scene with her breaking down with this well we. Thought was maybe Viserius, but now I think. It's is it they find it about Rna? What I mean, I don't know. It could be a number of things. I'm picturing a moment with Ranina with that skull alone, getting out all the things that she wanted to confront the rider of sheep Stealer about. But that's what I'm thinking. So I don't know anymore on my let's get a cat what we're moving on to next. Which brings us to my next section, which was planting the dragon seeds of destruction because Rana was making mistakes. Yeah, so, first of all, at the beginning of the episode, it was you can't attack Tumbleton because they're basically using the people at Tumbleton as a human shield or human shields. I have I have a better theory about how she could have gone about that. Let's see it. So the easy answer to remove in the high towers from Tumbleton is just to play on the weaknesses of their main guy. That would make sense, wouldn't it. So use the dragons to rain down on Tumbleton with all the fecal matter and kingslanden it's endless, ammo, zero bloodshed and given ormond strong sensitivity the odors, even in the last five minutes in such an uncouth environment. Well exactly, according to Davos, sea Worth and Gendri, there is literally a river of shit that flows through. It's endless, ammo. Like you've got fucking flying dragons, You've got whatever how many eight we don't know, I can't remember, but. There's there's plenty. There's plenty flyers there to fire that ship all around. Ormond would now last five minutes. She's already yeah, yes, she's already been informed that he's got a sensitivity to orders like a. Massive well, actually, this beginning point when she's just ranting about ormand she hasn't spoken to all uson yet, so she doesn't know about his sensitivity to orders yet. But yes, she had in the show, she had a fifteen minute window. But we'll take this as a whole day, and this is what at the end of the day. Rania is not a strategist. She's not doing well. She's not thinking like, how am I going to win this? What's the way to keep the people safe and win in the best way? Transition from Vissaris to her. Then she might have done okay, but. I don't even know if would have thought of the job is But no, it's a fair plan. But the fact that it's wartime and there's lots and lots of problems, she's not equipped to deal with all these problems all at once, maybe one at a time. Jobby bombs, Jobby bombs. That's it. We must write to HB and tell them they mister trick. I'm going right to George and tell me, mister trick. Jobby bombs was the answer. I love it. I love it. So yeah, she's made mistakes left, right and center and weird decisions as well. So the thing with orwell, when he goes to put the ball on easy thing. She's like relics of an old regime. She just decided that at the moment, right, this is not pre planned. She just went no, no, no, we're not doing that anymore. At this point, is she still on? Because I reckon, I would have been quite pissed off with this stupid little ball that was still on. We should probably get rid of that fucking ball. We're not doing that. We're not doing that. No, that's just ridiculous. But but again I kind of like it because it's like we know that they don't have those later on, Yeah, that we know off when they brought this in at the beginning of the House of the Dry and it was a very it was like, oh, this is interesting, We've never seen this before. This is cool. I wonder when they do it away with that and now we know now we know. Out with the Jobby bombs. So again she goes to speak to Alison, like like we said, and Allison tells her about his sensitivities. But there's also like this moment. One minute she's interrogating her and the next minute she's kind of asking her personal questions. Was it hard for you to send your son away. I kind of liked Allison's answer though, and she's tucker about so I just wanted one kid to be a high tower like. While I'm not on board for the high towers. No, but it did make me question show canon. Not questioning questioning the show canon as such, but question was this kid born with dark hair? No? And after all her moaning, did she go hmm, Okay, let's give that one up. So first of all, if they he was born with dark hair, why did they ending, uh, platinum hair decoy. I'm just no buying that Ormond is that good a hairdresser. He's a basket case. I know that. No, I've met some narcissistic hairdressers in my time, but no like that. Hairdressers are generally nice. But I think there's definitely some hair dye thing going on here. I wouldn't put past Ormond to be doing that todayn making him dye his hair because weird. That they hadn't carried on any knowledge that they had of the hair dyeing process by the time we get to Egg. No, Egg just went for the clean shave it all off. Although that was Derek de Yeah, it's another. Yeah, Yes, yes, the dreamer dream. I'm getting confused with my timelines here. So yeah, Darren kind of made him shave it off. I mean it was like he wasn't the sharpest tool on the drawer, was there? No, but you think he might have had a dream about some hairdressing knowledge that the previous day on had been through. Maybe. I mean, the hair dye thing in that world is not uncommon. We hear about it a lot. We've got young Griff and Griff in the main story I John Connington and Egg on the six slash Fagon both either hair blue sans adizer hair at the erie when she goes undercover as a limestone. Clearly Raina doesn't have the tools because she's just using suit. Yes, yes, she is definitely coloring her hair with suit. There is no other exploration. She went for the n Yes, I'm wondering if like Sheep Steeler just burned it off. Because it wasn't like the tidy is chop. Sheep Steelers and her hairdresser in town Ormond. But yeah, I'm going to go out on a in here and I am calling it. My opinion on the matter is is that Darn is actually a blonde and Ormond is making him dye his hair color to be less targarian and more high Tower. But we shall see, we shall see. But it makes sense that, you know, Daron is described as platinum blonde in the official cannon. And Amison is also blonde. Actually, Allison's hair colors never mentioned in the in the original canon, but every high Tower that we've had a description of, she's blonde in the pictures. Lots of people have plained over blonde hair because of that. For that reason, because every high tower we've ever had a description of is blonde. We've got Alleri High Tower. She's like silver blonde, but is it gray? Is it gray? But is it silver? And it's long right, and it's she's got really long haired and it's it's that silvery color right to so it's not like she just started growing gray in her later years. Her whole hair is this color. So she's described like that. And then we've got well, I can't remember her first name, but it's Jonah Mormon's wife leness High Tower, and he describes her as looking a lot like Danny. So again we've got that targarian look. They've always been described with this Targanian look, whereas Allison's never actually given a hair color in the book, and the show of went with this darker hair to distinguish her from the Targarians, I suppose, But no, I don't think Darren has taken after his mother. I think he has been forced to die. Otherwise, why make the decoy blonde's true so that. Anyway, we've dumbing it down for the fandom. Maybe, well, they do that. They definitely did that with Rainy's They made her Targarian blonde when actually Rainies is half Brathy and her dark care So they dumb that down for the fandom. So I wouldn't put it past them. But I'm going with logic brain. Logic brain doesn't always be house of the dragon. Cannon brain here we are. But anyway, so we digress. So the thing with Alison is that she keeps going back to Alison. She's going back to Alison for advice. So there she starts off with just interrogating her, and then she gets into a bit of a personal conversation with her, and then later on with Alison again when she she goes to her and she's like, have arranged for your father's remains to be sent to old Town and yeah, and there was an element of it was a nice scene, but ulterior motives, she's just making excuses to go and speak to Alison, and she's like, she knows Alison's well pissed offware, so she's like subconsciously trying to make it up to her in a weird way, and she keeps relying on Alison and this is such a bad move. It is such a bad move for her to do this because if everybody finds out that, you know, Alison's feeding her this information, One, it weakens her rule to you know, have taken over and then still be going to the Queen mother of the High Tower rule for advice. And secondly, it doesn't look great for Alison either. You know, if Arson. Ever does leave the Red Cape and people know that she's been feeding Nina information, she's fucked with the High Towers as well. So it's it's not a great move for either of them, to be honest with you. But here we are the key girls these scenes, and it's just it's just not it's just not a good idea for But is. This bad writing or is this bad character choices? Who knows? We will find out in time or not. Yeah, is it? Well, it's not bad writing. Is it contrived writing? Like forcing scenes with Alison and Rinia. But it kind of niggles me, And I'm not sure if it niggles me from a plot point of view or a writing point of view. So, like you say, time will tell, Yeah, it's it's contrived. It's it's like they are forcing dialogue with Alison and Rinia because they bounce off each other really well. And they want more scenes with Alison. And Rinia, but I don't know if they're just maybe forcing them at this stage. Anyway, So there's lots happened with Rania. There's so much. She's not great with the dragon Seeds. No, she's kind of rude. She's very rude to Hugh when like she's so just like, yes, you and we've got some. Lodgings for you and your wife. You'll be called for not nice and then you comes here and we're actually quite a good plan. It's like, actually, I'll do that watch better than anybody. That one went better than the Elf chat. The Elf one was very very awkward, though. I thought maybe he missed his own level of how offended he should have been by the Queen of Bastard's thing, because it may not just relate to her sons. She's the queen of Bastard. Next to the y. Yeah well, but it also relates to queen of Bastards, as in a bastards that are the dragon riders. Yes, so definitely he's taken no offense. He didn't realize that. No, he didn't quite take the offense at himself there. But I actually thought it was really clever. Of She's mister Trick, because she could have said, instead of being so wrapped up in her own they're talking about my sons again, they're talking about the dead sons. If she had been more more. Plato about it and more manipulative, she could have really got him on board there, saying those people are are saying bad things about you, like I'm here for you, I'm your queen. We've got this DoD like we need to stick together. Yeah, we're a team. Very dismissive of them, and she's like, right, you can go now, and then she speaks to about getting Luther largent and on it. I mean, not that we'd have ever been one side or the other here, nobody's ever been teen black in this podcast. But you know, now, it seems to be that she's she's in a feet snob, isn't she. Yeah, she is. She has been very snobby. And it was the same last week with Alan and Adam, and she's like, oh, well, people mix with the low born from time to time. It doesn't make them any less out of art. It's like, fuck off the elitist bit. So there was mind your neck and nera exactly. But yeah, so she was very rude with the drags. Actually, I do have that clip with Wolf. Actually, let's hear that. I protest you, you know, and you out there in the city. I've seen vile words painted on woes, like say, queen of bastards. The work. I'm sure of some of your misguided subjects who mistakenly believe the queen to be unkind. See that was clever. That, Yeah, now, that was a very very clever way of pointing out to her she needs to connect with the small folk more and the way she's speaking to him. Is just shit. And actually, do you know what if he was she has got a point about him, like maybe getting stabbed by a high tower and a tavern somewhere. But also she's not recognizing that he has a connection to the small folk and that maybe she could use that in some way. Right, But so again, bad decision from Renia, just missing him with Hugh is with you too, but particularly with Woolf the dragon lord. The people's princess at this point, isn't it. Oh that's brilliant, It's so true. I love it. Drinks for everyone, the realm's delight. Yeaholf Oof Targetarian, Oh my son, they were taking the piss out you a few weeks ago. Yeah, but I did love that he came in there was like, well, I'd like, like, we are we hoose and no taxis for my pattle because I want him money. He didn't say that, but you got Yeah. And then this other dude, he's got a few weak crimes that he just needs to be part of. No the time, pal, No the time. But funny, loved the scene. It was really funny. But the whole it's just not Renina. You are planting the seeds of your destruction here with You're being rude and dismissive to these people because these people are your team. They are Team Black and they literally have bigger dragons than you. Yeah, and at this point, the only people you're making friends with are the cats. Yeah, I'll shout out their pounds in the future. Ah, yeah, Tom and Brathian's wee cat who is a descendant of one of the cats that are released into the or some of these cats. I'm sure there was lots of cat and sest going on as well. So yeah, she sends She then sends them out saying clean the graffiti and find those responsible. Well, that didn't end well, did it. Nope? Nope? And she come on, it's the Gold. Clock And it was a total callback to episode one Gold Clocks, Yeah, where they were just out there just kind of hauling people off the street, out of their homes, battering them without evidence. It was just, Yeah, it was ruthless. And it actually came on the back of this scene where Rinider had said about the money that Damon had brought back from the veil, and she said, right, the money's going to the small Fox. You can deal with the gold Clocks. Keep them happy for a while, we'll honor the debt. And right after that, the next scene, literally the next scene or the scene after that, we see the gold Cloaks totally ravaging the people. Yeah, and I'm like, oh, it's Damon got a hand in that, because Damon's pissed off because he's not getting his way, because we know that Demon has that level of power over the gold Cloaks. Is Damon having a tantrum? Or are the gold Clocks having a tan trum not getting paid or is that just what happens. When you said the gold Cloaks out to find who's responsible. I thought the that's just the gold Cloaks. That was my first thought. Then I started thinking about it later on, going is Damon that is Luther Largent just pissed up? But anyway we'll find out or or we won't. But yeah, it was they didn't go well, did it. It's very much what you as a manager, as a bad manager, leave your staff to do with very little instruction. Yeah, if you just leave your your workforce with the most minor of instruction, they'll just carry it out in their own way, and it might not be what you had envisaged in your one shitty sentence Sia. No, No, she didn't make her her ideas clear there, did she? No? No, her management style is sparse and open to too much interpretation. Definitely, So then we mentioned briefly about the same with Damon bringing the head in. Well, that man didn't have a dental plan today. No, we didn't. I loved it like Todd and just kind. Of like moves his glass away from the disgusting head on the table. But then he starts giving a financial report and he was like, will you please explain to this list. He's the fall guy, dude. He's the fall guy. Definitely, let's get a master of quite someone to blame for all the money problem. Let's have Mandally. He seemed weird. Yeah, I love that. That was a great idea and I love the day. Was like, well, I bet you think you're smart taught and Mandally, well, I'm the. Smart one around. Whatever. Damon, he's so shit. Council meeting it's name just sucks again. Poor management. Yeah, yeah, definitely said Damon's a war general. Send them off to do war stuff, for go cloak stuff or something, anything other than sitting at that table. Sing a song and set things on fire and have some wine. Yes, that's his his area of expertise. No, no, although he did quite well in the veil. Yeah, well he got what he wanted. I don't know if he did well. His vibe was like, just give me the money, I'll stop being annoyron. Definitely, So of course there's a big debate over how to spend the money. Oh God, like Masaria like get another song man, right, Robinhood? Yeah, definitely. Has anyone considered a tax no, no, torn. No, we have not no no taxis. Please don't do taxis because spoiler alert, that's where it all goes wrong in the book with Lord Keltergard and his taxis, which is weird because Lord's Kelticard in the books did come over along with the rest of our small council, took things landing, and they are not invited on the show. So yeah, so they're debating for a wee bit. Rinio shuts down the debate and clears the room and she's like, I need more info, dayman, need more info on this skull on my table. Like what is this? Oh she's got a desk to work from that definitely, and demon'sdropped a nasty, creepy head on it. She's like, what the fuck? Man? Exactly not cool. And of course we said earlier about Massaria is like whose head is that? David doesn't even dignify it with the response it's just like a turn over his shoulder, like just fuck off. Please. Yeah, but she was like whining and about the fact it's like I wanted to see him, I wanted to look upon the one who killed my son, and he's like to punish him yourself. Do you think that would end your grief? And yeah, I think she probably does think that it would help. It won't, but she thinks it will. That's what she feels like she needs right now. However, grief is a process and sometimes these things need to happen to iggut onto the next level of the process. So yeah, I think yeah, And. That's where she is. She's stuck. She's stuck in this place where she just she's in vengeance. This is what she needs right now. She's just ormond aimed, sheep stealer, sheep stealers, anonymous rider. These are our targets. These are the focus of her rage. And the point is that they. Were having an important conversation there and because her emotions were taken over her and fair enough, she has just lost her son and this is the person that she believes is responsible for the death of her son. So it's understandable that these emotions would be taking over her, but they are getting in the way of what is important right now in the kingdom, which is the distribution of this. And she's she didn't even really think it through. She had this conversation with Damon about sheep stealers, rider, and Damon's like calming her down, it's not important. It's like, go, it's dealt with. Now, it's done, We're move on. You don't need and then she just comes out with this answer just you know, money's goes to the small folk and demon you need to the city watch cam. There was no thought that went into that. Again, she's leaning very heavily on Massaria as well, like this whole small folks, small folks, small folks that Massaria is doing. Venera seems to be following her advice quite a lot. And while I'm not saying that Massaria's advice is bad advice, it's very tunnel vision. There are more important things, and sometimes Damon is right sometimes actually what's kind of important is paying your soldiers. She's already had. A has anyone considered splitting the pod? Yeah? Can we can? We maybe give the gold clocks half their money? And feed the small folk. We have already had a food drive. Yeah, can we maybe, like I don't know, I don't know. It would be a terrible queen, But I feel like there's. Five grand to the gold clocks, five grand to the small I feel. Like I'm doing better than Raniera today, like half the money. Send the jobbi bombs, You're already. And I'd be a rubbish queen. So here we are any more notes on that. I mean there's just a general air of kind of just generally so in the seeds, and I think that's what jarred me with last week's episode. It was like Ranera's the change of Rna and the mistakes of Rnina. They were whacking us over the head with a sledge hammer with it. When it is this week, I felt it was much more subtle because we got to see you, but also subtle, sorry you were saying, because we got to see other people. Yeah, yeah, exactly. Nita's downfall is like starting to feel starting to feel like it will be earned. And I was concerned with the rapidness of Runia's incompetence last week that we were going to have another Danny situation, like another season eight Danny thing where there was something they were building to and they didn't build to it, they just flew straight into it. Yeah, and people couldn't handle it because it was so jaring and because it was shit but also jaring, And yeah, that's what I worried was happening. But this week felt like Verdida was in a much stronger and more capable place. Yeah, at the same time was making mistakes and at the same time, the odds were stacking against her, and that's the way I always kind of pictured the decline of her rule. I could have done without this week's episode then. Just had this one exactly. Yes, yes, that is it. If you'd given me last week as fish feed and then gone into. This, Yeah, yep, but we've had enough hate on last week's episode. But yeah, I just I'm more highlighting what an improvement this was, for sure. I don't have anything else to say on that. And that would then bring us to our. Dragon section, which I have renamed the dragon bond section. This week because that's what it was. There was absolute displays of dragon bond all over the place, So let's get into that. What a pack dragon section we have this week. This was great stuff. So, first of all, dragon bond. This was great. There was just so much dragon bond to Sarion and dad on on in some fire. Sheep stealing and Raina. Yeah, the protectiveness of these dragons, it was all over the place. Let's start with Demon and Kaxes. Yes, first of all, Kraxes on the bridge at first when the lands in the very very cool shot. Yeah, I love that, and I love the same Lady Jane. It was really cool herner where we're thrown and they recreated the whole eerie, the moon door, the whole setup. It was nice to be back there and it was, you know, weirdly back in Game of Thrones. I never thought, oh I want that, but this time I was like, oh, I want her chair. Yeah. I don't remember the chair very much, and when I'm watching Game of Thrones, but that wherewood chair. No, that's because she was like breastfeeding her kid. I think that. Yeah, that was distracting from the chair, I suppose. Yeah, that makes sense. That explained the chair, Yes, and lead Jane herself was. She's such a beauty, isn't she. Yeah, and she's so so there's a presence, she's she's owning it. She's flying the flag for the women she is. But the Afghan hounds were a bit off. I thought you would have liked the Afghan I did. They're gorgeous dogs, but it's like, what, I don't, I don't, I don't get it. I thought they were very hurt. I would have accepted Irish wolfhounds before Afghan hounds. Wolf would have been good. Yeah they're not as pretty. No, they're not as pretty, but they are such lovely dogs and they're so well behaved. Yeah, yes, I love She want mc sweeney with her Afghan wolfhounds on Irish traders. The Afghan wolf found Irish wolfhounds. Her Irish wolfound. Dog walkers were very fucking Charlattan's. Can will Found. I want to see an Afghan will Found. I want one. Can we have one of them? Stop? Maybe he's born with it? Oh, dear, was he just that funny? If you picture one? Okay, that's where I started laughing at the first place. It's the hybrid you never knew you wanted. Oh, that's definitely one of the actual tears. So yeah, a couple of Irish wolfds. Yeah that's great, Emma, totally. What you said right right, that's going on the moon door. Yeah, the Irish wilfriends would have been better placed. I agree. So then when Damon leaves with ten thousand dragons these saddlebacks, that was really funny see as well, like Damon was trying to load up gracies like when you. Go man, when you go, Yeah, Damon's like writing, gloves in hand like whoa what what what? Ed like slaps the saddle like what are. You doing. Down? I actually clipped this because it's our very first human and dragon argument. Yeah, so here Eliza will listen accent, so. You did. It was so good, very first human and dragon argument. I would just like to say, Daddy East, the dragon is not a That was that scene was just so prominent with all the best dragon bits of this episode, and so clear in this moment is like, no. Wait, your w goes the wrong way? Is this way? This is the way we need to go. I don't know if Karaxies was Sitten saying Raina smelling Reina or just sheep stealer. I think it was Raina, do you think? Yeah, because of that dragon bond connection, because it's someone that has a place in Damon's heart, so therefore Karaxis heart. I think the dragons need to be given more credit for how smart they are that No, wait a minute, we need to go check this out. I can smell Raina and I can smell another dragon. We need to go look at this. Yeah, that's interesting. I like that. Take diamond Rhino stuck in the well. Okay to me, vibe. I do love the shots of Karaxis and we get to see the back legs and wing situation things going on. It's almost so awkward. Yeah cool, it's awesome. I love watching kraxies fly above all the other dragons. There's nothing nothing graceful, no, no, but at the same time, it's. Very graceful because it's slithery. It's slinky, it's and yet it's so ungraceful. Yeah yeah to me, limbs, limbs. Too much body, but cool kaxies, shrieking, lots of cool dragons. Sounds there, Sound Department, We're on point with that. I love that. The whole argument between them absolutely came across so well, very good, very very good. Loved it. Loved the shot of Raina and the cave. Now we've almost saw that shot before, but I couldn't pick out the silhouette of the person before. So that was really cool. That was really really cool. I loved that. So let's actually listen to Damon realizing it's rainer right, so tense, wet, dragon Conco. That's going on a curry suck curry. Yeah, Cam those dragons down, man, they're getting rowdy again, dragon Pond. They're just. What have you done yourself? I got a new hairdoo, dad? What do you think? Then they got Ormond. Fed him. She he kind of fed you. She. It's very nettles, isn't it. Jace is dead. I wanted any tell to show her, to show you I never intended's don't break and Jerry. No subtitles for that life. I'm taking that as no ship. They are well attended, They will be safe. You thought to be their guardian, teach them to be ladies of the realm. Well, I would be of no use then, just as I was of no use here Damon in that scene, it's like so yes, so fatherly, it's like no, no, no, no. What we're gonna do is like you're my kid that I've got to help you. You can hear it all. Yeah, it's so not Damon. Yeah, I loved every second of it though, great great scene, and then of course she gives her big speech about exiling herself, et cetera. And then. Sheep Stealer comes charging out the gate and Damon's ducking kin Axes is like shouting after sheep Steeler and they was like, actually, shuts up, I love. That you sho the dragon. It was so great. Couldn't get him to fly in the right direction, but managed to shoot him. True, very true. I think car Axes needed to see what it was that was the pool and then went. Okay, yeah, definitely just an ugly dragon. Oh hit sheep stealer. Oh god, that's actually raina. Oh okay, I. Yeah, just like shut up, I need to think. And then of course he sees the goat herd below, which was very sinister. He just knew what was coming next. Jshi, are being a lonely goat herd, doesn't it? Hi the hell was a lonely. You're doing that anymore? No, for sure. So did you have any other thoughts on the dragon the dragon, because that was my MVP dragon totally stole the dragon section. Okay, So next we have Egon and Sunfire, which was very interesting. So Agon's hugging some Fire was cute. So this is a shot from the promo, and this is not a reuniting of Egan and some Fire as I had thought. But I still haven't given up hope. No, I haven't either. I think this is just the beginning the Sunfire's back bitches. It's like, what was the term is brumation or something that's a state that reptiles could go into, particularly snakes when they're I think that's that pops up on a in the chat and something in there. Myself, I'm just going to lie here and feel shy until I feel. Better, exactly. It's like a sort of mistake. So that's what I think's going on here with some Fire. And I also want to throw out some lore here and say waking dragons from stone. See what that's See what I did there? I like that. I like that for Egon, I like that for some Fire. Such a heartfelt moment. Oh yeah, even I was going, come on, Sunfire, give him a sign. Yeah I didn't need a sign, did He was like no, he didn't. Come on there, my boy, you're in there, Like, let's hear that clip. Actually, Oh cool, he's alive. Johnny five I believe you're going. I believe you. I know it. He's alive. He must be, Yes, it must let us trouble these good folks, no further. It's simple, simple, what's he saying somewhere? I know you? We must carry no longer the dangerous great. I am very sorry, but you must accept what is before you. You wanted to see him. You've seen him. He's dead. M next day with him. If you get up and live. He looks very rotted in the initial shot when you see the whole dragon, but then faces burnt off. Yeah, when you see egg On giving him a cuddle, there's something a bit more. He's not quite dead about that shot. I agree, are still like they could be reanimated. I believe it. There's a vibe, there's definitely a vibe and might be hope and that bond there, the bond is there completely and he knew he's alive. He is alive. I believe that with all my heart. Yeah, I believe that. Yeah, and it's going to be absolutely awesome. Also, we've seen from promo stuff there's a scene of egg On sneaking in to what looks like it might be there at night, So that's the point. Actually, let's talk about that. These absolute vultures that are like charging for the dragon. Show, the bit worthy guys like he had two hands on Laris is just like fucking hell right, fine, here you go. The creepy little dude, it's like getting closer and closer, and then he's also in the shot again when it's the designation of jobs, shall we say, a rook's rest, he's also the same dude that's kind of getting closer and getting closer. I'm like, who is this little creepy guy. I feel like he knows something. Maybe he's seen Sunfire have a wee move or a I don't know, maybe he's got some sort of vibe, or he's just a nosey wee bastard. That or an extra that's making too much a show of themsell. Yeah, he's somebody's son, that's what It's a high he gin son. That's what happens. I'm going to keep he's a nettle baby. Did not. I didn't see this, and I'm going to keep an eye out for it. I'm going to rewatch it and I'm going to see have a look for him and keep an eye out for him. In future episodes because. Maybe he is somebody same little skullkun cunt to be fair, like, I mean, they haven't cast a few important people, so why would they cast somebody unimportant and have them in your face like that? Like thereon for example, we clocked him in episode one. Yeah we were like, okay, there's something going on with this guy. And yeah, like I said, it makes to reveal more interesting if it's someone you've already seen. So maybe this guy is one of those moments. We'll keep an eye out for that. So did you. Notice that Agon was going by the name Gregor? Yes, which is interesting. I mean if they went for sand Or, that might have been a wee bit too obvious. But to go for greg burns that burns on the face, I'm thinking it's a subtle nog to nod nog No, let's not laugh for twenty minutes now, this is something wrong, okay, I think, And it's a subtle nod to the Clay game Brothers. So yeah, I don't know if that's that's a real thing or just something I'm saying. But Gregor, I'm like, Sandor would have been a bit too on the nose, wouldn't it but Gregor gives that nod. I like that. That's pretty cool. If he did that, then I'm on board with that. And if I just saw it for myself, then yeah, I've got great brain. Yay, come live here, it's awesome. Right. So Sarian does not like Ormond. No, we established that earlier. That was very clear, and Sarian seemed to have a lovely bond. However, forbidden it is like Romeo and Juliet. Yeah, Dren's clearly unabused kid to Sarian is chained up and also in a very repressed Yes, also in a very repressed situation. Yeah, she's just a bit more vocal than there, honors when it comes to it. I genuinely thought she was going to blow his balls off. Oh I know, I know. She was right up there like i'll have you mate, Yeah, you've made him do something absolutely awful. You've changed him irreversibly, and I can feel that she felt that change absolutely. The dragon bond in this scene as well was just so tight, and he'd just. Been so massively racist as well, So. I hope she was like excuse me, yes, yes, he was incredibly racist against one half of Darren's family, you know, as a young lad, he's going to have a curiosity about this side of himself that he's never been allowed to explore, thinking about his brothers, his mother. Aside from Gwen, imagine that Tassarian is the only love that he feels, Yeah, apart from his weird Stockholm syndrome that he may have. Yeah, there's a little, there's fear, there's caution. Is that thing that like when you've been on the receiving end of abuse, that you just learn to read a room. And I saw that and there on from in the first scene with him, not just in the scene where Ormand got the letter and he's like get out and steps back, but you saw in the first scene he's like there's just something about who his submissiveness. And you pointed it out last week or the week before. Actually the way Ormond was with him, yeah, was not like an uncle to his princely nephew. No, it was weird. It was like even less than a squire. He was very and I thought it was part of the ruse. But now knowing what we know, I actually think that you were reading that correctly as that's how he is with him, not just he was putting that on to hide him. Yeah, that's their dynamic. Yeah, so that's interesting as well. To Sarian for sure does not like Ormond, and you can you can't really blame thereon for being scared as well. I mean he's just a weed. Yeah, boy, were weed dragon and all these big, badass dragons are coming from. So I thought in our visual at the very end, we see Tasarian take that big breath, and you see the fire and you think roast roast um girl. And then when the visual ends and you only have the sound before the credits come up, it sounds like she roasts the body and eats it. Yeah. Yeah, that's the way it seemed to have been taken out. It seems like Tosarian is possibly feeding off of the way Deren is with Ormond. Yeah, I'll just submit. I'm not agreeing with this, but I have to submit or you'll kill me. Yeah exactly, because that way dragons being vulnerable itself, it's only just taking it a wing. Within the last month or so, roughly around the time of rooks Rest, that dragons might. Have had a lot of rolled up scrolls over our beak. Yeah, what of slippers? Yeah exactly. I reckon that dragon's just as abused as dren Is, and as much as you can abuse a dragon, but being chained up, being only allowed out to fly when Ormond deems it okay. So I wonder how far the dragon bond goes. We've never seen this before, but it could be something. Because they are intrinsically linked to each other. It would be cool if the dragon bond extended that the way she feels towards him and him towards her, it's like a teen phase that she's now starting to bell slightly and go, we're not having this. Come on theren I'm going to open my mouth and show my flame to them. I'm just going to eat the body. But we need to start standing up and stepping up here. I'm going to be your energy. Let's do this. You would like to think that's how it would be with them, but historically it's not what we've seen with the dragons. You can't enslave a dragon, no, you have their own mind. So maybe this one has her own mind in the respect that we're not doing this. No, and I think I want an ending. We're to sarry and roast's Ormond. That would be great. That would be satisfying. Yeah, justice for Tasari chump. I'm like a sheep girl. Yeah, definitely, that's my wish for the end of Ormond. Ormond is a great character though, love it Yeah, yeah, absolutely. Loving James Norton and this role. Loving this role. I love all the quirks, all the layers of manipulation, the deep seeded planning. You know, I had a thought about this too, and it was all the cast. Now I've worked together for so long and I've seen so many interviews about how close they are. Yeah, so it might be hard to I'm not doubting that they're great actors, but at this point it's going to be hard to be kind of mean with each other. But when you bring in a new actor, yeah, it would be a fresher element to being mad at someone and being genuinely quite I'm detached for this character, so I'm able to be shittier to them. So in Walking Dead, when the character Megan was introduced in season six, this character Nagan was in widely anticipated badass evil protagonists character that from the comics that everybody was waiting. And when this character was introduced, they come in with an evil bang, and so they come in at the very last five ten minutes of one season, and then it comes into the next season, the entire cast will and speak to him. They are nothing to do. They were just like, we can't talk to. Make the acting easier. Yeah, we're just like, no, we can't be your friend yet. And I've seen the whole cast with James Norton and they're so lovely with him, and he's really trying. Bless him. Yeah, I wonder if there's some element to that that they're like, Okay, you're a bad guy. We have to keep this here because it's so hard to be shipped with each other now. Yeah, yeah, I imagine it must be very hard being the new guy as well. Yeah, bless but he's doing a great job. His character is brilliant and it's multi layered, and I like that. We're not just got like generics bad guy here. We've got a layered bad guy and that's great because we haven't seen much of Aiming recently. We will be back based on the trailer I've seen for the coming episodes, very soon. But yeah, all in all, absolutely great episodes. So anything else to mention before we move into it? No? Oh, yeah, there was one other thing. Actually, Helena is pregnant. Congrats girl or not or not? She's done look very happy. But yeah, so the big, the big secret pregnancy all that scene. So first time I watched it, I was a bit distracted. There was stuff going on, and I just thought, what's what is she got a? Is she being crazy Helena? Like? Does she have the wrong night dress on? What is it that's on an overcoat? Are they going somewhere? Why are Alison's eyes popping out her head? Okay, fine, I'm just going to rewatch this. Rewatched it and immediately got it. I was like, oh dude, she's pregnant. Oh my god, are they doing the mail Or thing? Oh my god. So many things went through my head. I was like, oh shit, how are they going to do it because he can't be two at the time. Oh my god, what they're gonna do? Are they gonna do it? Polena apart? What's going to happen? Oh my god? This is awesome. It's kind of awful. Oh. I know, there's so many thoughts that go with this. There's so many ways this could go. We don't know. But I mean, like you say, I mean, Mailer was supposed to be too, and here we are. She's just pregnant. Is it agons Is it Amens? I think it's Agons. I think it's Agones. And she's quite far along. Because we've talked about the timeline thing already, there are some people out there saying that it might be Aimons, but we've not seen any hint of something going that to that level with her and Amond, just a lot of intimidation. So I'm at a stage life where I have enough kids and have enough pregnancies that you could class it on a sort of medieval term at this point, because I've experienced all stages, all kinds of birth. So what I'm going to guess from my own knowledge is the way and where the overcoat was being buttoned an order for Allison to have felt what she felt as her mother. She's pretty far, honest. I would think she's probably five to six months. That was my guess. Yeah, And that would work. With Eggon's scar healing, with Viseri's death. The whole timeline thing would work if she was five to six months pregnant, because there's a lot of work going on there behind the scenes in your body, just making things, building things. Baby doesn't start to gain any weight actually until after twenty eight weeks. So somebody that Helena is at the stage where she's had one kid and twins, so this is her third pregnancy. She's she's had no miscarriages that we know of, no, so third pregnancy. She's still quite a young woman. You're not going to feel that. What Allison would have felt was possibly an enlargement of her breasts, but that could also be to put on weight, which I doubt is possible with the amount of food shortage that they've had. However, I think it's going to be where she was button in, she's felt her abdomen bulging. Yeah, for sure, you're talking you're talking. About six months. I think that that would be my guest, possibly possibly six. I'm leaning more towards six, because I think at five you're sort of in that ambiguous says maybe she's just put on way. Five or twenty weeks. Yeah, so six or twenty four weeks, seven for sure. Seven that's when baby then has finished all their development and you really start gaining weight and having a bump. When you're a young woman that. Just bounces back and is quite I wouldn't say she would be emaciated through lack of food because of giving her station. So I'm going to go for six months. Yeah, that's probably where she is. I would say so too, And I think she's known for longer than six months, and that maybe where in previous episodes we've seen that sort of wild confidence from her that we haven't had before because she has a secret and she's like, this is what needs to happen. I'm going to be blunt here because this is what we've got from her the last two episodes. I'm going to be blunt here. Yeah. Yeah, she has been a lot like that. Yeah, except when she was on the wall with the guards, like I won't type any dragons harmed, any beasts harmed. Yes, sir, Yeah, she was trying. I'm going for six months. Yeah, I would say six months, but I mean we've in fact, I don't know more because we've seen her. Six to seven. She's not going to be any more than seven because beyond twenty eight weeks, you're in your third trimester and you're baby's really starting to put on weight then. So I'm just thinking about the plot and the fact that we've seen what seems to be her giving birth in the trailer. Well, let's go for seven. That's our seven. Seven is a safe zone where yeah, seven, because there's every chance you could give birth eight months due to stress. Yeah, that's kind of where I was going with that. So absolutely could be anything from five to seven or eight months. But yeah, we'll just we'll see what happens. We'll see. I mean, she could that could be a late miscarriage, midterm miscarriages where there still has to be some sort of element of labor. That so the baby might sort of survive, it might come early and not survive, or it could be a full term maybe that does survive. So we'll find out. But she definitely seems to be giving birth. Yeah, so I think we'll get an answers on whether there's a baby at the end of this birth scene. So okay, So yeah, I think that pretty much covers everything. Now it's time for Rip. Of All and this evenings ri Ip. We have the poor roasted shepherd head. We have no name for this gentleman. I'm sure he was very good to his sheep. He had no dental plan. A man who spent his life herding goes only to spend his death herding Turganian lies. May he find a passion in the afterlife, devoid of prince age dragons, in the looming threat of becoming a grizzly paperweight. A tragic conclusion for someone who surely just wanted to finish. His day without being used as a prop and a royal coverer. Peace rest in peace. Also to Leo. He was the brother of Cat, husband to Marna, father to two children. It's very sad. Do you have as well? Ye had? Okay, I've got a man who proves that sometimes even when you're in your own home, you're still in the wrong place. At the wrong time. Rest in peace, In peace. Here you come back as an Afghan. Okay. I was going to put the Afghan wolf hunt the wolf found in the outtakes, but now you might have to leave it in. I did stick Garrick of white Groves ball sack and rip, and I felt he didn't deserve it because he was a rape bastard. I'm not quite sure what gelding involves. Is it just the sack or is it the whole thing? I think it's the whole thing. Yeah, he just smooth after that, like a ken doll. Mm hmmm. I have a wife. You should have thought about that. I think she might be pleased that you've been gilded your terrible No, I would Gelding's too good for them. Here we are seven point seven. It got an IMDb. Well, I was in the middle of what we thought. Did you know? Yeah? I did know that. The iron thrower has been greatly redesigned from Game of Thrones. It is larger and more asymmetric to more closely match the description in Georgia R. R. Martin's novels, although it's nowhere near that big. The throne of the books is a forty foot immovable asymmetrical bar myth that made from a thousand sores weldy together with the seat twenty feet above the ground, only accessible by a flight of stairs. The person sitting on it addresses the people below from forty feet away. Yeah, we knew that we did. These are general show stuff season one, no fun facts on IMDb, So I mean that pretty much wraps us up. I think this was a much better episode. I'm sticking with my eight. I'm happy with the eight. There was lots I loved about it. There was lots of lore stuff, and it made me much happier than it did last week. It is very late, and I am very very tipsy, so I'm going to call it there. I'm sure Emma will agree, absolutely, So let's wrap this up. If you want to get in touch, head over to The unrel Hour dot com. You'll find our episodes and social media links there.
